The Twilight Saga: New Moon The Twilight Saga: New Moon PG-13
Here we have the second installment in the Twlight Saga. I didn't like the second book that much, so I was prepared not to like this movie either.

It was better than expected, but no where close to Twilight.

It was an okay movie. Totally watchable, although...it got slightly boring at times. But so did the book so how can you expect something else? The long "talking scenes" and Bella's (stupid) depression was pretty lame, but very well done because that is exactly what it was in the book.
The fighting scenes were interesting again, but I really liked the epic fight between Edward and James better.
We've got the werewolfs, brilliant. They were exactly like I pictured them.
Once again beautiful scenery and the way was shot was simply brilliant.

Kristen Stewart plays Bella perfectly...slightly too good sometimes. Because the character Bella annoys me to no end, all she does is mope around and whine. Honest!
Robert Pattinson, is really good as the brooding, suicidal, sparkling vampire hunk we all know as Edward.
Taylor Lautner. How could they doubt him. He is Jacob Black. Damn that boy has worked hard for this part (thank you for all the shirtless scenes (why must you be 17??)). He is exactly like I picture Jacob.
We've got some new characters...The werewolf clan with Sam leading them, good cast there. The Volturi. I was sceptic about Dakota Fanning; Childstar, playing psycotic and sadistic Jane...But she did good. As did the others...even if some had like...three lines in the whole movie?

Having read the book I knew the plot on beforehand and I thought that they really got every essential part into the movie, even if some of them are rather dull. Kudos.
And I really think that this part in the installment was just a filler in so that Bella and Jacob can become close without Edward in the way and to get some more angst in to the whole plotline. Sincerely.
And the dialouges...good god. The sad thing is that most of the "I can't live without you" crap is directly from the book. Sad but true. Truly lame.
One thing I think they fucked up on...was the eyes, The Cullen clan's eyes. Were too bright and just looked creepy. It worked for the Volturi vamps and Laurent but...no the honey coulour was just too bright and noticable.

So over all it was a good movie. Definitley not awesome, but hey I didn't like the book either so how could the movie be any better?
Bridge to Terabithia Bridge to Terabithia PG
A story about two young kids trying to escape their real lives by creating their own world; Terabithia.

I didn't really expect anything from this movie and it was surprisingly good. The story is touching and really well done.
Terabithia itself could have been greater...well okay I expected it to be Narnia-like so maybe that's why I thought that it wasn't so great. Considering the fact that two young kids though the land up...it was pretty good. Nevermind...
Really bold and unexpected ending, that alone gave it a star.

For being so young the actors did really well. Really convincing performances.

Fantasy mixed with issues of the real world. Better than expected, worth seeing.

(First Lines) " I was 12 going on 13 the first time I saw a dead human being. It happened in the summer of 1959 - a long time ago, but only if you measure in terms of years. I was living in a small town in Oregon called Castle Rock; there were only twelve hundred and eighty-one people, but to me it was the whole world." The movie is about a man who after finding out about his friends tradgic death writes down their story. A story about the best summer they ever had together. The summer the four best friends, Gordie(The writer), Chris,Teddy and Vern set out to find the corpse of a boy that has gone missing. We follow them through their journey and watch the adventure of their lives...well, any 12 year old going on 13 would think of it as an adventure... I love this movie. It's a cute movie about friendship. The boys are over-dramatic and funny...and you just cant help but laugh with them...and feel sorry for them. And the Cobras...those guys should have their own movie x) I love Ace and Eyeball... It's a very simple movie...but it is truly amazing. Definitley worth watching... "I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?"
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas R
"What? No. We can't stop here. This is bat country." In a world of all drugs known to man kind, a gonzo journalist and a psykotic attorney we find Raul Duke. We follow Duke and Dr. Gonzo on their search for the american dream. The movie is different, hysterical and at times absolutley hilarious. Through the movie we follow Duke as he hallucinates and wonders about life. Its a different and interesting movie when Johnny Depp and Benicio Del Toro are at their best...the two of them together makes the movie even better. Johnny is amazing as Duke but he is for once maybe slightly out-shined by Benicio Del Torro's fantastic performance as the buzzed Dr. Gonzo. Definitly worth watching. "There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."
