| Wake Up Sid - Unrated | A good movie. I wanted to watch this ever since i saw its trailer. Good acting by both Ranbir and Konkana. Story and music are great. You might be reminded of Dil Chahta Hai while watching it. The title song, iktara and kya karoon linger around even after leaving the hall. | Blue - Unrated |
After watching the trailers one would think Blue would be mindblowingly awesome. Unfortunately, except for the underwater shooting and catchy songs, Blue has nothing to offer. The movie opens well, starting with a shark fight, that would make your heart jump into your mouth. The movie's saving grace are the gorgeous underwater sequences. A lot of money has been spent on them, and must say it was worth every penny. If only the script had been stronger and the screenplay more engrossing the movie would have been a blockbuster. The stunts are done exceedingly well, though there was one that is a direct rip off from Torque. Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt have given good performances. Lara Dutta looked gorgeous. Zayeed Khan seemed lost though. Excellent music by A.R Rehmaan. |

| Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna (Mrs Khanna and I) - Unrated | This movie sucks, only thing i liked was the cinematography. There is no story, it seems like one of those serials. Music is no good, the only song worth listening to is don't say alvida and you might like the item number from Priety Zinta. Acting from all the leads is not even mentioning. Movie was pretty awesome but the ending was stupid, thats what spoiled the whole fun of watching it. It had some awesome effects, I really liked the plane crash part. I was reminded of Noah's ark in between. ;) Worth watching until like the last 30 minutes. This movie could have been a LOT better. |
