Snakes on a Plane - R I really thought this was going to be completely stupid. In the end it had somewhat of a believable plot. The snakes where of course CGI and where well done, to look has real has possible. I'm sure the directors didn't want live snakes for various reasons.

Sam L. Jackson was his usuall self, tough F.B.I agent who has to save the entire plane. Most of the side characters where sub par expect for Kenan Thompson and Julianna Margulies.

I Love You, Man - R I felt Paul Rudd and Jason Segel both worked really well together has a comedy team. This is the first film these actors have teamed up, and you couldn't tell.

Theres a bit of vulgar comedy at times but nothing most adults haven't heard before.

Only big knock on the film was Jon Favreau character just seemed like he in in real life didn't really want to be in the film. He did come off really well has the asshole husband role, which is nothing any of his previous roles

Race to Witch Mountain - PG Descent action for both adults and kids alike. I thought the story was pretty good for a remake of the 1984 film.

Of course the special effects where a huge part of the film. Most of the effects came off has believable. Only few knocks where the 2 aliens seem to have loads of powers which just seem to be added whenever the movie situation called for it.

Righteous Kill - R This was an alright movie, just expected more out of both seasoned veteran actors together. They also could done a little more with Wahlberg and Leguizamo's characters.

Good twist at the end, earned it the 3 star rating.

Babylon A.D. - PG-13 movie was a little better the 2nd time around with the 2-disc unrated and uncut version had additional footage which made the movie make more sense.

Close to 45 minutes was cut from the theater version. Some fans of the previous movie left with a bad taste

Burn After Reading - R Sorry folks but any movie that gets requested to be turned off half way through just isn't that interesting. there where some funny moments but we just never really got into it. February 6, 2009

Underworld: The Rise of the Lycans - R Bill Nighy reprises his role has Viktor in this prequel to Underworld. He is given more screen time than in Underworld and was one of the bright spots in the film. He shows his true vicious nature by casting anyone who defines him to death. Lucian is really the films main character and it follows his struggle to free himself & his fellow clan of Lycans. Michael Sheen played the part but really never sold me on him being a hero.

Also from Underworld is Kevin Grevioux character Raze whom we learn where he came from also.

I wasn't disappointed in Rhona Mitra's character Sonja she pulled her weight in the film with stellar delivery of her lines and I found chemistry between Lucian and Sonja much better than Michael and Selene.

In the end it was a good prequel but not a great prequel.

My Bloody Valentine 3-D - R I was surprised that this movie was actually enjoyable to watch. For a remake it turned out to be pretty good. There was some good acting and it didn't follow your typical slasher flick formula at times.

The 3d was different it had been a long time since I had watched a movie in total 3D.

The Covenant - PG-13 This movie missed the boat for me, thought it was going to be a great Fantasy action film. Which turned out to show all the great action scenes in the previews.

The casting was filled with unknowns to me, and I never really got attached to the story has being any different than something we've already seen.
