If you enjoyed Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas this film comes with my highest recommendation. Perhaps it takes a particular perspective on live to fully enjoy this type of movie, but non-the-less, I would still recommend it to anyone that is at all intrigued by the trailer.

Complexly brilliant. From the direction to the artwork this visual interpretation perfectly compliments the themes that inspired the screenplay, including the tiredness of my eyes after watching it.

This is how an artistic film can achieve success.

If you enjoy animated feature films in general I think you will appreciate this movie. If you are fussy about them and liked A Shark's Tale, or Cars I found this film slightly more entertaining than each of them. I also happen to be a great fan of fine food which plays a strong role in this movie.

Fantastic. The animation was beautiful, and so realistic, however characterised, that it was easy to mistake it for live action unless paying attention to the rendering.

I think the story elements may be drawn out for a particularly younger audience, but I enjoyed the pacing amongst such a magnificent backdrop.

This is another film where every scene has importance to the development of some aspect of the plot, so if you are not into thought provoking cinema you may not enjoy this as much as I did.

The actors really made this movie their own with entertaining performances.

Brilliant intrigue and casting. A gripping screenplay that I found highly entertaining.

I have no problems ignoring the uneccissary scene towards the end because the rest of the movie was fantastic.

Adam Sandler fans will not be disappointed with this film I am sure. And broad appreciators of comedy should be able to laugh quite easily at this film also.

If the previous films in this series have entertained you, I am fairly certain this will not disappoint. I rate it somewhere between the first and second films.

If you dispise blockbuster action you might as well give this a miss because that's exactly what it is, with action akin to the super-spy genre that spawned 007.

The average rating from 132 of my friends is equal to my own at:

Fashion is not a topic I look forward to in film, yet I found this film highly entertaining and would recommend it to fans of comedy whether you are into designer clothing or not, especially to the former, although it's no rib splitter.

Whilst it uses the fashion industry, the subject of the film is very broad and would apply to anyone in the modern business world.

Meryl Streep is absolutely perfect for this role. The film overall was quite entertaining, but her performance made it seem like a documentary.

The story, and theme of this film is interesting and relevant to modern capitalist culture.

Fans of the novel series may be disappointed with the fun and interesting content left behind from the books in this film, but I felt it was necessary and highly enjoyed what remained of the plot in this large tale of Harry's fifth year at Hogwarts.

This is definitely worth catching on the big screen if you appreciate films at the theater, and

185 of My Friends who have, presently rate the film with an average of four stars.

Fantastic, and the best in the series of films to date. The slimmed screenplay kept enough important story from the novels to still hold the attention of those who have not read them- paced to perfection. It felt a lot shorter than its screening length.

The one aspect I have found neglected in the novels are the action sequences that do not carry the dark and dangerous events that take place. Here is where this film shines greater than the books. The superb directing of the action sequences succeed where their narrative counterparts are lacking.

Catch this while it's still in theaters if you have any inclination to watch this film. Don't wait for DVD. I now have an inkling of how people felt leaving the theater after watching A New Hope in terms of epic sci-fi special effects.

I was in greater awe than when I saw Jurassic Park, plus the story was a lot better.

The five friends that have already rated it have an average of four stars. The only people I could imagine complaining about this film would be die-hard fans that wanted an exact retelling of their favorite story. Even then I think some may be converted to the live action version.

Amazing special effects using CG. I was completely entertained for the entire duration of the film. Brilliant direction Michael Bay.

Shia La Boef was fantastic in his role. This movie was even more than I expected. A blockbuster masterpiece.

If wham-bam thank you ma'am blockbuster entertainment is your thing than I don't imagine this could disappoint, unless you are a hardcore comic fan that can't stand to see the story of your favorite characters altered for film at all. It felt like a comic book on screen.

Four stars is the average 63 of my friends have rated it. This wouldn't appeal to everyone on my list, but if the concept of watching the Silver Surfer on screen sounds good to you then I'm sure you will enjoy it at the very least.

Coming from someone that enjoyed the first film, this was a fantastic sequel. Better than the original.

I felt that the melodramatic acting was fitting for a comic to screen adaptation. The plot was awesome and well executed, including the prelude to the next film.

Your recommendation of this film to me was right on the mark, and it would appear we enjoyed it equally. It doesn't get any better than five stars, so I thought I would show you the recommendation I have passed on:

Four and a half stars is the mean of 150 ratings my friends have given this film.

If you are not a fan of Will Farrell's broad humour then I think you will actually be more likely to enjoy this film. It is very light on the humour, and he plays his part as well as Jim Carrey acted in Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind. And he was surrounded by consummate professionals, in all areas.

I wish I saw this in the theatre. After one viewing it has cracked my Top Ten.

When I reviewed this film and noticed that only 53 of my friends have seen and rated this film (an average of three and a half stars), I must recommend this film to the rest of you.

The story plays out a little like a young Good Will Hunting, with affectionate characters and realistic circumstances. I strongly urge those who have not seen it to rent it, and those that have to rate it. Adam Hannbyrd plays his role very convincingly.

I would recommend this to everyone who loves mysteries, and suspense whether you like horror or not, so long as you have the stomach for some gore. I am not a fan of horror at all, but I really enjoyed this film and the original equally.

This is a specific style of humour that you would likely know you appreciate or not from the trailer.

Filmed in mocumentory style, it screens like an extended episode of a skit comedy show with a faintly linear story progression.

From the opening gag I was laughing heartily. A lot of the comedy was hugely appealing to me.

I warn you to leave your thinking caps on for this one, or you simply will not get any enjoyment from it.

Fabulous directing, and only minor (forgivable) editing errors. One post production aspect that lets it down a little is the subtitling. It really should have been done with greater care for a film like this. If you spreken zie Deutsch you must see this.

142 of my friends have given this film a rating, and the average is currently four stars.

Very artistic, and deep. The most enjoyable aspect of the film for me was thinking about it hours after and putting all the pieces together.

Unfortunately, not the best film for subtitles. Taking attention from the imagery does not do it justice. Great sound score, however.

If you could never sit through an episode of World Series Poker, than give this a miss.

If, however, you could bare it then it is definitely possible to enjoy this film. I found it very well made.

If you enjoy Hold 'em poker as much as I and you are a fan of drama, then I highly recommend you catch this one, on the big screen if able.

When you make a movie involving Texas Hold 'em it takes time to build the correct atmosphere, or it would be better to cut any scenes using play.

This movie has this in spades, so those who do not follow poker may find the important aspects of the film do not hold the intended impact.

Using relationships, the setting for the theme is well crafted. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is a true hidden gem. The only film I have recommended so far that none of my current list of 489 friends has given a star rating, making it the easiest film to recommend. Not that surprising, being a HBO made-for-television movie.

I caught this on television last year, very late at night. Although I was tired, and about to hit the sack (and I had watched two films prior), it grabbed my attention immediately and didn't let go until I saw the conclusion.

It's a drama with a feel-good underdog theme at heart. A must see for Laurence Fishburne fans.

This aired on Australian television as: Socrates. I found the story very enthralling and down to earth, even if somewhat romanticised.

Laurence Fishburne plays this hard, no BS character very well and carries the entire film with his performance.
