Classic! Nothing can describe this one, people should just watch it. Every aspect of the film is simply perfect, making it one of the most amazing films I've ever watched.
Poetically brutal. Beautifully shaped metaphor of Shi gan add onto Kim Ki Duk's image of a director who knows how to share his ideas with the audience.
"REDRUM" My personal favorite out of Stanley Kubrick's movies. I have flashes of some breath-taking scenes whenever I think of it. I think The Shining can easily gain the title of the best psychological thriller ever made. '
This film was so inspiring. Well made story about Che Guevara's road trip through Latin America that had great influence on his later life. Add amazing photography, music and good actors and you get a great film!
Epic and wonderful! There are some scenes that just stay in your head for years to come. The story, the acting, the music - everything makes this film a true classic.
Excellent film. I expected a typical love story, but this was something more - tearing you apart by the end of the movie. Actors did a great job, making this film one of my favorite dramas.
So strong and emotional. Just the gallery of amazing and well-shaped characters was enough to put it into classics category. Jack Nicholson is great, once again.
My favorite out of the whole trilogy. I think it does justice to the book - and we all know that doesn't happen often. When it came out I went absolutely crazy... fangirling for the first time in my life.
A strong, passionate film about one of the most amazing female artists ever. Visually one of the most beautiful films I've ever watched. The cast is incredible, but Salma Hayek carries the movie - she impressed me with this role.
I watched this film soon after it was released, simply to see what the whole hassle was about (and because of Lee Junki, of course =)) and I was impressed. I didn't really expect that much. I think no review (and especially not the poor written plot up there) can describe just how good this film is.
Too scary not to be watched. I went out of the cinema and had to check if I truly watched a documentary. Talking about religious fanaticism/fundamentalism. Evangelical bible camp in Devil's Lake, North Dakota called Kids on Fire says enough itself.
I'm quite sick of films about WWII and I always watch those with a dose of skepticism, but The Pianist (along with Life is Beautiful) absolutely fascinated me. I immediately added him to my list of favorite films.
Audrey Hepburn's best film! She's irresistible here, you have to love her! Music and the story are great too, I always return to Breakfast at Tiffany's.
Emotional, but not pathetic, May 18 gives a nice picture of the terror that happened and makes the audience empathize with the victims of it. I liked it very much.
Absolutely loved it! Amazing realization of an interesting idea - the pace of the film is just right, the story draws you in and you can't help yourself - one moment you feel like crying and the next you can't stop laughing. Touching and real - I really want to watch it again!
New approach to rape and revenge topic - fresh and a bit terrifying - makes us wonder 'who are we to judge anyone?'. Simple, background sounds play the main role here and, together with interesting music that blends in so well, lead the story in such an amazing way - without them the film wouldn't be half as strong as it is. Emotional attack in a way - making you anticipate something all the time throughout the film.
'The more you get to know everyone, the more alone you become.' Giving out our privacy for everybody to own - are we aware of the price we pay for living in public? A mesmerizing film - something every young person (especially the ones addicted to the internet) should see.
