Mad Money

I had my doubts first about this movie but the plot seemed nice so i took a chance and watched it. 3 women with hard life goes the criminal way for some easy money.. Diane Keaton , Queen Latifah and Katie Holmes in the roles so its a pretty nice setup here along with Ted Danson aswell. Its a lighthearted comedy romance movie and i enjoyed it. Perhaps u will aswell.
Pineapple Express

A goofy comedy / crime movie with Seth Rogen and he is funny usually so he fits perfect in these type of roles. Story follows 2 friends "heavy drug users" with problems involving a murder.. I thought this flick was really good and it had some great funny scenes. It became actually better the more i watched it.
Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

The cool animals from NY are back and actually almost even better than the first movie. All the characters are funny especially the penguins and king Julien. Story was good and it was a nice sequel and i hope they will make more movies because Madagascar are truly a hit.
Quantum of Solace

Bond is back once again and will probably never stop. I have always been a fan of 007 mostly of Connery and Moore's movies. Anyway this new movie takes place after Casino Royale so hopefully u have seen it before this. Daniel Craig does a decent job as Bond but the "Bond" feeling arent in the same league as the older flicks. I miss out many things which make a bond movie complete. Bond is more like "just another action movie" these days but they are well made and worth seeing despite that. Craig will be make a few more movies so i hope they will bring back more "007 style" in them.
Vacancy 2: The First Cut

The first movie was alot better and Kate Beckinsale starred in that one along with Luke Wilson. This movie didn't have any scary feeling almost but more killings. The killers werent the brightest either with not the best script aswell. Anyway its watchable but don't expect to much.
Straightheads (Closure)

A thriller movie with Gillian Anderson and Danny Dyer in the main roles. Story was decent with a simple plot. A bit of violence , sex and revenge mixed makes it a fair flick , nothing special really. Watchable but u can find better movies.

Twilight
by K.WOW! I thought this movie was done beautifully! I thought that the location they filmed this in was just amazingly breath taking. I really enjoyed how they filmed this movie. It was done very well and I loved how they did Edward's sparkled skin. I thought it was very creative and it worked for me. I also liked the flow of the movie. The actors were superb! Every one of them felt right for their parts. They did a great job. I also really loved the scene were Edward has to suck the poison out of Bella's arm and it did that flash thing going through all of the past between them. (I just thought that part was beautiful and done so very well.) So, in closing- I recommend this movie to everyone. It was well worth the LONG wait. And I am thrilled to find out that NEW MOON has received their green light!! YAY!!

Once
by JaniI been thinking nearly for a day, what to write about, how to describe it all. I've now listened to some songs from the soundtack and I'm obviously in love with the film and its music. The songs are mellancolic acoustic songs about losing your faith in love etc, but the story itself is one of the most beautiful, optimistic and realistic that I've seen for a while.
The two non-professional actors, Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, act in a very charming and realistic way. They really do an outstanding job and outshine all the so called "A-list" Hollywood actors.
The script does not concentrate on building the backstory, everything will be explained as the story develops. The film is shot at handheld and gives you the feeling that you are present on the sets. It felt kinda strange at the beginning, because I'm not a huge fan of it, but it works in this one.
And the music... I can't describe it in any other way than pure perfection. The lyrics are like deeper, extra thoughts that are easier to explain by performing them. Glen Hansard has an exceptionally beautiful voice. He and Ms Irglova really deserved the Oscar for best song.
You can't forget the film and its music after watching it. "Once" is a true low-budget indie masterpiece about facing your romantic challenges in life, and to which all of us can easily relate to. This film, a touching and honest gem, will stay in every movie lovers heart til the end.Once you have seen "Once", you'll be coming back for more...
