Not a bad movie at all, Don´t like most of Jasons films, but this is your best film. planning wasn't very ingenious. Bad edition and starts a bit slow.

Apparently this film was one of the first to use the "flashback from multiple perspectives approach", so it is historically and creatively significant for that. However, I found the acting style of Mifune, as the bandit, to be a distraction more than anything else. The use of the "medium" to convey one perspective was a highlight for me. Overall an interesting movie, but one that I expected more from.

"Oh, Leonard can be very charming...Leonard has a way with women. I only hope he will have an all-women jury. They will carry him from the courtroom in triumph."

Thia is somewhat of a different kind of film because you think it's going to be somewhat of a kighthearted comedy in the beginning, but it really surprises you in a good way.

Great performances by James McAvoy and Steven Robertson. Totally worth watching on several levels and I'm glad we finally got around to it.

Why do people talk trash on McAvoy? See this and maybe you won't.

One complaint: too slow at times.

this film was largely overlooked, as it came out the same year as braveheart. based on the real life charactor Rob Roy Mcgregor, a sometimes thief with incredible ideals of honor is made into an outlaw and loses his home because of treachery by some nobles and his unwillingness to lie for his lord. fantastic performance by neeson, and a wonderful dandified evil viliam by tim roth. jessiaca lange and eric stolz also do a good job.

"William Roper: So, now you give the Devil the benefit of law!

Sir Thomas More: Yes! What would you do? Cut a great road through the law to get after the Devil?

William Roper: Yes, I'd cut down every law in England to do that!

Sir Thomas More: Oh? And when the last law was down, and the Devil turned 'round on you, where would you hide, Roper, the laws all being flat? This country is planted thick with laws, from coast to coast, Man's laws, not God's! And if you cut them down, and you're just the man to do it, do you really think you could stand upright in the winds that would blow then? Yes, I'd give the Devil benefit of law, for my own safety's sake! "

Rebel Without A Cause is a movie that does not need to be qualified. It's not good for its time. It's a great film on its own.; it's good because it's good. The definition of a classic.

I wonder how "scandalous"/shocking it must have been for the time...

James Dean is brilliant, at most times it's as if he's not evem acting, but living his part. And the chemistry between him and Natalie Wood is good.

I surely can't say anything that hasn;t already been said about this.

See it now, if you haven;t already.

Decent film...Enjoyable to watch...at first, I thought its just another "seen it, been there" film, but I was surprised...in a good way...I guess one of the things that might 'tell' you that film was good is time passing without noticing...KC delivered what I excpected of him, and rest of cast was just fine...The story itself was OK...nothing impressive...definitly glad I didnt go to cinema to watch it... Not demanding film at all - emotionally nor ur little grey cells will have to do extra work to figure out the plot......its an OK film for lazy afternoon and times when u feel like just watch something without taking yourselves much into it:)

Not perfect by any meand whatsoever, but made enjoyable by Christina Ricci who shows yet again just what makes her so special as an actress.

Catherine O'Hara and Peter Dinklage add immensely to the overall effect.

Cute for sure, but nothing more than light entertainment.

Surprisingly good movie...Really...although a bit slow in some parts for my taste, it kept my attention almost all time. Everything was more than I anticipated! Cast, their performance, plot and what I liked most there were no flying boats or anything similar and I don't know why I thought its 'must be' in JS movie. Anyway, if you r up to good action film, here is one that will satisfy you on every level.
