Fabulous. One of the best movies ever made and one of the few that are as good as the book which in it's own is one of the best American books ever written. See it, you'll see it again and again. I know you'll love the score by Elmer Bernstein.

The Day of the Jackal (1973,  PG)
The Day of the Jackal 4.5 Stars
Terrific. One of the few movies that are as good as the book. Suspense filled thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Except that, if you know your world history, you know from the beggining that the plot failed it would be one of the few movies where you really didn't now how it was going to end. See it and skip the Bruce Willis one. A cheap re-make.

The Man Who Would Be King 5.0 Stars
This is such a teriffic movie on so many levels. First of all it's Kipling and you can't get any better than that. Then you have Sean Conery and Michael Caine, two of the greatest British actors ever born and they play off each other brilliantly. The setting is all on location in India and Afgahnistan and is just stunning. The plot, well did I say that it was Kipling? This is just one of the best movies ever made and I'm giving you a double your money back guarantee on it. I promise you that you and your whole family will just adore it. - Scott

Lawrence of Arabia 5.0 Stars
This is one of the greates epic movies ever made about one of the most incredible men that ever lived. There is nothing, simply nothing bad to say about this movie. It was Peter O'Tooles second film and Omar Sharif's first and it is without a doubt the best performance in either of their lives. If you've never seen this movie go out and get it now. The only thing is you have to schedule it into a special day. It is long, over three hours but it takes that long to tell this story. Money Back Guarantee.

Such a fabulous movie! The acting, the direction, the script even the location. The story of Souther hatred and bigotry turned around by the sheer stubborness of one brilliant black cop. To watch as admiration and loe even respect grows in Rod Steiger is a thing to behold. One of the best movies ever made. If you've never seen this then you are so lucky that you still get to see it for the first time. I wish I could see it for the first time again and again but that doesn't stop me from watching it over and over. Money back guarantee!

Wag the Dog (1997,  R)

I think that this is close to the most important political movie ever made. I also don't believe that this is just satire. No, no I'm not saying that it's real, I think rather that it's irony, not satire. Unlike a lot of political movies that try to hammer home morales and ethics, either desirous or just missing, this movie pounds home the fact that there is no way of knowing what reality is these days. We, the people have to trust "the system." That all the information we have is what they tell us. How do we know what's true and what's just plain old bullshit. This movie demonstrates that anything is possible, just anything. This movie is increadibly well written and the acting on all parts is just magnificent. I can't recomend this movie highly enough and I'm offering a rare guarantee. If you write me and convince me you really didn't love this movie I'll send you $5. Seriously!
