Watchmen (2009, R)
It's one goddamn great true adaptation of all time. It's like reliving the moment of historical events in a totally different timeline. My most memorable events in the film was The Assasination of JFK accompanied by Bob Dylan's The Times They Are a-Changin', Vietnam War accompanied by Budapest Symphony Orchestra's Ride of the Valkyries, the attempted false murder of Adrian Veidt / Ozymandias (Matthew Goode) & the dramatic destruction of New York City. It's a great adaptation & film overall. Just a bit average in acting. |
