I would very much like to see this.

Although I've just read a review by cosmo landesman, who basically said that anybody who wants to see this movie is probably your typical white, middle class European film fan, who is attracted to Hanake's work for his tales of 'affluent lives infected with guilt and battered by violence' because it seems to excite their moral masochism and arouse their hidden anxieties - tickling their sense of post-imperial guilt (Hidden) or fears of youth ('Funny Games'...hang on i'm only 26).
While middle England would have the Daily Mail, this kind of art house lover has Hanake to scare the bejesus out of him... or her... with tales of a world gone to the dogs.
so maybe I shoudn't see it then?

Oh fuckit, I want to see it anyway. I've been self deprecating enough, surely.

I'm excited to see this. I wonder if it is any good.

An interesting trailer, but its hard to guage how good a Coen brothers movie will be from a trailer, or from reviews from the butt kissing press. Lets hope its back to their old form.
