Hannah and Her Sisters (1986,  PG-13)
Hannah and Her Sisters
This is a perfect movie. Script, acting, cinematography on a small budget, and (unusual for a Woody Allen flick) EVERYONE ends up happy.
2
Jaws (1975,  PG)
Jaws
Why 5 stars? Because it's got great storytelling, great archetypical (yet lively) characters, engrossing suspense, a trio of awesome actors (though reyfuss is certainly annoying), and who can forget that score? (Now, if only they could have made a 3-D remake...what?)
3
The Godfather (1972,  R)
4
The Godfather, Part II (1974,  R)
5
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind (2004,  R)
6
GoodFellas (1990,  R)

The Verdict (1982,  R)
The Verdict
Unbelievably great. In my humble opinion, this is Newman's best work, and James Mason is fantastic. Add a Mamet script and Lumet direction, and this is one of my top 10. Easy.
8
The Royal Tenenbaums (2001,  R)
9
Amelie (Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain) (2001,  R)
Amelie (Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain)
Loved this movie so much that I chose the setting of one of the scenes as the place I proposed to my wife (now don't tell that ho that i got the idea from a movie...)

Pride and Prejudice
One of those movies that is so well acted and well-paced that, if I come across it while flipping premium channels, I stop and watch it.
15
The Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers (2002,  PG-13)
16
It's a Wonderful Life (1946,  Unrated)
17
The Great Dictator (1940,  G)
The Great Dictator
A masterpiece of both Chaplin's signature physical comedy and his sensitive commitment to making his art stand for something bigger than himself.
18
Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989,  PG-13)
Crimes and Misdemeanors
My comments have really sucked today, so i'll just come out and say it: masterful.
19
Trainspotting (1996,  R)
20
Duck Soup (1933,  Unrated)
