About Me
I don't review, I just make comments.
I like movies. That's why I'm here.
So if you are here for the same reason and have some sort of understanding about the concept of the movie-media, please send me a message.
Since most of you have no taste or understanding for what makes a good film(A hot main-character is not a criteria).
Just stay away.

-I watch most movies. Classics, Indie, World-Cinema, Documentaries, Mockumentaries, Bio-Pics, B-Movies, C-Movies, Horrible-Horror, Slashers, Dashers, Numb-Dumb Comedies, Musicals, Epic-Dramas, Cartoons, Blaxploitation, Sexploitation and the big Oscar winners.

-I'm not a big fan of Teen/High-School comedies and musicals like the ones from Nickelodeon and Disney Channel. I hate Star Trek and most american re-makes of asian horror films.
Movies put up just to show of the effects feel's like an inslut. The Day After Tomorrow, Transformers and Armageddon are three good examples.
Chuck Norris may be a fun character, but he's a terrible actor and stars in terrible movies just like Steven Seagal.
Historical sport events movies. (Will the under-dogs beat the evil russian/german team this time?)
Preachy, religious films, no mather what religion is at the very bottom of the list with Bollywood and comedies starring animals.

*My list of "actors" and "actresses" that I can't stand.

MARTIN LAWRENCE, Aaron Eckhart, Barry Pepper, Ben Affleck, Brendan Fraser, Casper Van Dien, Chris O'Donnell, Chuck Norris, Colin Firth, Corin Nemec, David Caruso, Denzel Washington, Dominic Purcell, Ethan Embry, Freddie Highmore, James Belushi, James Marsden, James Van Der Beek, Jamie Kennedy, Jason Biggs, Jay Mohr, Jimmy Fallon, Jon Favreau, Josh Hartnett, Joshua Jackson, Jurgen Prochnow, Justin Long, Kirk Cameron, Leslie Nielsen, Marc Anthony, Mark Dacascos, Michael Pitt, Nicholas Cage, Orlando Bloom, Rob Schneider, Rodney Dangerfield, Rowan Atkinson, Ryan Reynolds, Shia LaBeouf, Steven Seagal, Zac Efron,
FRAN DRESCHER, Amy Smart, Asia Argento, Bridgette Wilson, Helen Hunt, Helena Bergström, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Garner, Jennifer Lopez, Joan Cusack, Kate Beckinsale, Katie Holmes, Keri Russell, Laura San Giacomo, Lindsay Lohan, Liv Tyler, Meg Ryan, Melissa Joan Hart, Meredith Henderson, Michelle Rodriguez, Nancy Travis, Neve Campbell, Penelope Cruz, Raven-Symoné, Reba McEntire, Salma Hayek, Sandra Bullock, Sarah Jessica Parker, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Tina Fey, Tori Spelling, Vanessa Williams, Whoopi Goldberg, The Olsen Twins, The Sprouse Twins and all the WWF-WWE-WCW-WC-wrestler/actors.

    Transylvania 6-5000 Transylvania 6-5000
    4.5 Stars by Creep
I thought Transylvania 6-5000 was a laugh riot. I also use to always watch this around Halloween time, and I forget what channel it was but there was this channel that use to always have something called "Shock-tober" every month of October. Does anyone else remember Shock-tober back in the 80's? Well anyway they use to always play Transylvania 6-5000 along with other films such as The Wraith, Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, The Gate, and The Blob. Wow, what a wonderful time that was...I miss Shock-tober.

"Transylvania 6-5000 is about two tabloid reporters Jack Harrison and Gil Turner who are sent to Transylvania with two choices: find the Frankenstein monster or find new jobs. But before the jumpy journalists can dig up their big story, they must first face the horrors of an extremely clumsy butler a nymphomaniac vampire and a semi-mad doctor as well as assorted mummies, werewolves and more Transylvanian oddballs. Can these two bumbling heroes unravel this monstrous mystery or are they in for some very scary surprises?"

Just for the record this movie is not scary at all, it's an all out wacky-screwball comedy. This isn't a laugh out loud like crazy humorous movie, nor is it raunchy or anything, but it's definitely funny enough to give you the giggles every few minutes as well as a few out loud belly laughs. It's also a rated PG comedy/horror movie so don't expect any nudity or foul language, or anything like that. What makes the movie so damn funny is the complete silliness of it's characters. I swear to God, the characters in this movie are so fucking retarded it's hilarious.

Take Fejos for instance, a goofy idiot played by Michael Richards(who played Kramer on Seinfeld), who taunts hotel guests and asks them to do stuff like sniff ashtrays and slip on banana peels. Fejos is actually one of the strong points of this movie and plenty of the stand out funny moments here have revolved around him. Another strong point that helps make the movie so funny are the reactions and facial expressions of Jack(played by Jeff Goldblum) and Gil(played by Ed Begley Jr.). It's funny to see how they reacted while they were in a town fully surrounded by complete idiots. And then we get the mad scientist, a Sicilian doctor named Victorio Malavacqua, who somehow goes completely mad every time he just steps out of his laboratory for a split second. Plus we get all of our favorite horror movie monsters in one setting...the wolfman, vampire, mummy, Frankenstein monster. It's just all a very silly good time.

It's a wacky movie, with many wacky characters, and a lot of wacky fun! I recommend it.

Comedy...comedy... well, the only ones I've watched recently and can think of at the moment are Reality Bites (ben Stiller's comedy) and the Coen's Hudsucker Proxy. Both are really good "rainy day" type films (in my opinion anyways)!

The Last of the Mohicans The Last of the Mohicans
    2.0 Stars by Jack
    Not what I expected, really.

The story is about a dying tribe called the Mohicans in which only two are left as well as one adopted white man. These three men refuse to enter the militia for English in 1757 for they want freedom. On their way to Kentucky, they intercept Indians attacking a small regiment of British including the two daughters of an English Colonel on their way to a fort. The three men lead the survivors to the fort while two love stories take place but the French and Indian War continues.

I found it very dull and boring. And Daniel Day-Lewis annoyed me.

I have nothing else to say.
Not a movie I'll rewatch, that's for sure.

    Waxwork Waxwork
    4.0 Stars by Creep
Whoever watches Waxwork and takes this movie seriously will probably not have a fun time with it. If before you watch this film and know what you're getting into, which is top-notch cheese, gory displays of bloody violence, bunches of corny ass one liners, and a shitload of classic Universal monsters running amok...then you'll probably be quite pleased with this movie. I for one loved Waxwork and I grew up on this film. The plot is quite original...

"A group of spoiled brat rich kids are invited to a special party at a new wax museum that sprung up over night in their neighborhood. Yeah, it strikes them as a bit odd that a waxworks was opened on a residential street, but they head over anyway. Our four friends roam the museum unattended and conveniently separate from one another. The museum itself is more like a chamber of horrors than anything else with one gruesome display after another. One by one each young adult steps into a display and are then transported directly into the exact scene and forced to play the part on display. Thrust into an alternate universe each one is made to fight for his or her life in a scene that resembles a classic horror flick whether it's involving a suave Dracula or the bite of a Wolf Man. If and when they don't succeed, they then become a permanent part of the scene as the waxwork becomes their new home. Two of them become part of the Waxwork while two escape, and needless to say they have a devil of a time convincing the police that something is wrong. Will our hero be able to put an end to the evil mastermind behind the waxworks before it's too late? Or will the prophecy be fulfilled allowing the Waxworks to take over the world?"

This movie is hell of a lot of fun and hilarious. A truly underrated hidden gem from the 80's and it's quite bloody too. The acting isn't that bad actually, in the sense that they all play corn balls extremely well, and the dialogue is so silly to the point where it becomes very funny. The makeup effects here are amazing, and it's always fun to watch a man being split in half by an angry werewolf, or even a vampire eating chunky flesh from a man's half severed leg. This movie is not at all about the scare factor, but more for the fun and entertaining eye candy as well as the silly gags. Waxwork is another good Halloweenie-feel horror movie, a good popcorn flick with all your favorite horror movie creatures in it...the wolfman, the vampire, the mummy, and my favorite waxwork segment in the movie, the zombies!

The ending part of Waxwork is truly classic. We get the ultimate battle between man and monster. When all the wax figures in the museum come back to life the humans fight back. Guns blazing, sword swinging, arrows flying through the air...a total and complete massacre(all though this specific fight wasn't that bloody, just very fun to watch). Also, don't expect this fight scene to be something out of a "300" movie, remember this was just a little B movie that's from the 80's. Not to be taken that seriously.

Get the popcorn and slide this DVD in. Waxwork is a cool little bloody, fun horror movie. Highly recommended.

    4.5 Stars by Scott
Harmony Korine's return after nearly a decade is must see cinema. Stylistically, it is pretty much mindblowing. He has a wide array of influences, but he still manages to make a unique and exhilarating motion picture. He attempt to have more of a plot/point than his previous films, and he successfully manages to be provocative. It gets really really dark and nihilistic, and while I can't totally get behind what he's going for, there is a lot here worth dwelling upon. Aside from a few plotting problems, this thing runs like a charm from start to finish. The acting performances are incredible, particularly from Samantha Morton and Werner Herzog, but the whole cast is just great. There's no reason why you shouldn't see this unique and original film.
