this is going to be a split review here....ok maybe like a 3 split part....1 why i didnt like it.... i went at first to see it and me and a bud of mine went to go see it stoned and drunk when it was still in theaters we heard NOTHING about it other then it was a cowboy movie and it directed by the dude who did crouching tigers and hidden dragons so of course were like "FUCK YEAH MAN! "what can i say im a huuge john wayne fan" and we sat there all pumped up....next thing ya know.....two guys fucking.....not just any two guys but one of the brothers from the brothers grimm and donnie darko....so we were pissed and after that i hated it.... then i rewatched it on dvd since my ma really wanted to see it sooo i rewatched it with her and thought... ya know its not that bad sure it has gay dudes fucking in it but thieres more to it then just that theres a love that can never happen in this time the film took place even as you see thier lifes go on for one it sucks the other its great so for that i give it a decent rating....the problem? fucking so many critics said "how orignal" this was....heh fucking morons go to the sundance channel everyweek you will see some kind of gay cowboy or some shit flick....so no....THIS IS NOT ORIGNAL MORONS!

you know.. i rank this as one of the best god damn fantasy films ever made! yes it was a little cheesy every one talked in english and jason has the brittish acsent but hell the cast was great the music made me feel like i was watching a oldie classic type film wich made it even better and helll... ron paerlman as the comedy releaf just fucking bad ass only problem was the oger type dudes kinda reminded me of the bad guys from power rangers....other then that?....truthfully?...... its better then the lord of the rings... there i said.... and im sticking to it....fuck those toklin books...uwe boll is and always will be the man....

one of thr best school shooting films ever sure some moments are a bit cheesy but this prooves what uwe can do! and shows in some ways why violents comes out of no where... people that want to change thier ways that were the evil ones dont get to redeam themself and the good ones turn evil for thier own reason i would say this is truly one the best arthouse style films around and deserves more praise then it dose!
