The Other Boleyn Girl

I enjoyed the movie and the book -- I tend to like those period pieces -- They could've gotten someone better for Henry, but the 2 sisters were cast perfectly -- I thought the movie was pretty faithful to the booik, and I think it moved along well -- There could've been a better transition from being the young queen to the scaffolding, but I thought that the whole thing was a believable conjecture --

You can sure tell it's a Quentin Tarantino movie -- Not a happy ending in any sense -- and nothing I would buy to add to my collection -- That said, and despite the gross parts of the movie, It was well done and I kindof enjoyed it -- Brad Pitt couold be a garbage collector and his acting would be sterling -- Don't take the kids or don't go if you have a weak stomach --

This is the MOST aesthetically beautiful movie I've EVER seen from the scenery shots to the actors -- Zeffierelli's FINEST -- Even better than Romeo and Juliet which came out immediately before this -- Alec Guiness turns in a WONDERFUL Pope and the other acting is stupendous -- The music was done by Donovan -- People my age will remember him from the 60's and 70's -- I just can't say enough good about this movie!

And this is one of the most tender -- Barret Oliver is SUPERB and the storyline will melt your heart -- You'll also end up laughing yourself silly at some of the subtle jokes -- Watch it several times to get the full effect --
