A very enjoyable and gorgeous movie... though something about it fell flat. It tried to be a visionary sci-fi film but ended up following the common route most post apocalyptic action films follow where dialogue is dumbed down and the action moves the plot along. Not to say that is enough to avoid it, but don't go in for a spell nding adventure go in with the intent to see a beautiful action film.
Another great Tarantino flick, it was great to see a new twist on the holocaust and a different ending to WW2. The acting all around was superb and the story as well. Waltz was perfect and Pitt was hilarious... in the long run it was more talky and less bloody than I expected but it still delivered.
I had a blast at this movie, it started out very mockumentary then the action and story picked up and i was hooked. Honestly the weapons and the top notch cgi were the movies strongest points. There really wasn't a strong direction in the story... more of a series of chance events unfolding before your eyes, but it worked... well!
A very predictable movie... but that was the intention, so you focus on Sam Rockwell's performance. Which by the way is superb. Sam played his character... er characters fantastically, I think it may be the best one man show I've seen, Kevin Spacey was a great support and it was nice to see an a.i. that wasn't evil, infact very likeable.
