The romance is carefully put together, the characters carefully built up, and the sad moments as carefully put together as the more hopeful ones, but it still lacks a strong ending - surely the most important part of this sort of story.
Nice soundtrack, but not quite as astounding as I had hoped.
I still have no idea why the woman cries at the end of the Graduate, which is definitely one of the finest Romance films with one of the most mind blowing endings ever - what the hell does she do that for? Is she just thinking about what she plans on doing in the pancake place shortly afterwards?

Might just be the best war movie I've ever seen.

This film is everything a great epic should be. Everyone should take note. I don't say this lightly - everyone should see this film. It's important, something not many films can boast. This film is something you actually, genuinely MUST see.

One of the best films I've ever seen. Burstyn was cheated out of her Oscar. Her performance in this film is probably the best acting ever, no exaggeration needed.
