In this documentary, we see the 5 men travel from New York to Argentina with NO money at all, making all their money by doing the thing they love - performing. This is not just a documentary on football but is a "coming-of-age" documentary, which brings real emotion to the film. One for males, females, kids and adults, I guarentee that you will love it..! |

I read the reviews of this film and decided it was worth a shot. This film is beautifully made. Before this film I did not know of Joy Divsion's work but the acting in this film by the major players was excellent. Sam Riley as Curtis is very very good as is Samantha Morton as his downtrodden wife. I thought the guy who played the manager was hilarious. I was convinced that I wouldn't like this but came away feeling that this was an amazing film. Even if you don't like Punk music or Joy Division - go watch. Well worth it. |
