Disney's A Christmas Carol - PG I loved The Polar Express and this one, A Christmas Carol was a real treat indeed. However I felt that some eerie elements and special effects of the ghosts would likely to disturb sensitive youngsters. Without a doubt, Jim Carrey is good as Scrooge and he voiced all the key ghosts. Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and and Yet to come too. The animation is lively, a story that never grows old. 2012 - PG-13 The movie was so long, I thought by the time I get out of the theatre, it will be 2012. A bewildering two hours and forty minutes!!! Yes, it does deliver loads of actions, a CGI extravaganza. This is the perfect choice to spend your valuable time if one is into all those amazing CGI, with great shots of tidal waves the size of Mt. Everest, spectacular earth quakes that swallowed California whole and citizens are devoured up in huge cavernous cracks in the Earth's surface. Undoubtedly scores very high on technical and graphical terms however story wise it does falls short on character development, in my opinion.
TRIVIA: In an interview by USA Today, Roland Emmerich has stated that this will be his final disaster film: "I said to myself that I'll do one more disaster movie, but it has to end all disaster movies. So I packed everything in."

The Godfather, Part III - R Very much still an absorbing story. However there is one flaw here, the casting of Sofia Coppola as the daughter of Al Pacino. Absolutely terrible as Mary Corleone! December 13, 2009
