I think many people had high expectations for this film since it was made by a renowned director marina de van and featured Italian siren, Monica Belluci who had starred in highly acclaimed films. But this flick, with its many different past and present interferances, confuses the viewers and messes everything up just when you think you get it, you do not, at all. Do not waste your time watching this film.
I think most people like to watch coming-of-age films mainly and primarily on the sex that happens. This film disapppoints on that but broguht on an entirely satisfying ending. Though it might not be to everyone's taste. Slick performances but I do expect a bit more. |

However, the master has a deadly secret which involves sacrificing one of his apprentices to the Grim Reaper at the end of every year to boost his vitality and strength.
