Saving Private Ryan (1998,  R)
Saving Private Ryan 5.0 Stars
This movie was great.

I despised Pvt Oppum.

I loved Sizemore and Hanks characters.

The fact that this movie started the push to building a Memorial for WWII vets in Washington D.C. means that it goes beyond Entertainment.

Batman Begins (2005,  PG-13)
Batman Begins 5.0 Stars
Caine and Bale were awesome. Perfectly cast.

Nolan and the writers take on the Batman universe is fantastic.

Seeing the creation of Batman was great.

The action was there, the ending was great setup for future sequel.

The only downer was Katie Holmes, which they have fixed in TDK.

Do yourself a favor and check out the Alternate Ending.

I am a sucker for end of world movies.

This one wasn't a let down.

I would've liked to have seen a mix of the two endings, but the ALT is more satisfying.

Will Smith does a great job with his comic approach and the emotion when necessary.

Iron Man (Ironman) (2008,  PG-13)
Iron Man (Ironman) 5.0 Stars
This movie was cast perfectly. A lot of Stark's punchlines had me rolling, especially when interacting with the Soldiers and the Hot News Writer chick. Favreau does an awesome job, right beside Raimi and Nolan. I thought the rehashed villian was weak. The After Credits "Bonus" was cool.

Directors Cut DVD was fantastic. Perhaps the best set off Extras ever on a DVD release.

This movie told the story of Mogadishu so well.

Hartnett did a damn good job. Well directed.

The Bourne Ultimatum 5.0 Stars
A fantastic trilogy so far. Ultimatum was my favorite.

Matt Damon is a natural as Jason Bourne. You have got to love the way that Bourne is always one step ahead of his adversaries.

Thankfully Damon re-thought his comment about being done with Bourne.

I figured Tom Hanks had another Best Actor Oscar with Cast Away.

Crowe in this movie outdid that performance. The action, story and depth of this movie make it a must see.

This could've been the best of the trilogy, but the wimpy ending with the Hobbits bothered me.

The war scenes were amazing. This franchise couldn't have been brought to life any better.

Inside Man 5.0 Stars
Spike Lee's best movie.

Washington and Owen are perfect.

The twists to this movie make it suspensful.

I didn't like Foster's character. Though I could see a person like that being involved, but not with that much power.

To me, the quintessintial Zombie movie. I dislike old movies, so this remake made me happy in so many ways.

The DVD extras are all worth the watch.

Great job by Zach Snyder using this type of zombie, vs. the Romero zombie.

Eastwood knocked this one out of the park.

The characters were all well casted.

This was a fantastic book to movie transfer.

You really felt for Tim Robbins character. It also really hit home, because it showed how people change, regardless of how tight they once were.

The 40 Year Old Virgin 5.0 Stars
My favorite comedy of all time.

It was raunchy, it was a bunch of Who was that actors.

Paul Rudd and Seth Rogan going back and forth (especially on DVD extra) about How I know you're Gay, was classic.

A dark, action packed movie, that did a good job of telling this supernatural story.

Money. Money. Money.

The movie has a great pace from start to finish.

This pairs two of my favorite actors in Bale and Crowe.

Both did very well, but they might've been outdone by Ben Foster's acting. He played the Wade gang leader so well.

This remake out does the original hands down.

I was so surprised by this movie.

It fits as a fantastic Guy Action movie.

Then to add in the twists for the characters was icing.

Walker was decently well cast in his role, though I think he might be a little to prett boy.

The trippy events that happened throughout the night were CRAZY.

I would've never thought Viggo could pull off a role such as this and his character in Eastern Promises.

When you think the movie is finishing up, it moves right into the high gear and we really get to see what Viggo's character left behind.
