    It's a unique idea. Definitely worth checking out, and not at all what I expected. My only complaint is that the director mentions thinking about an alternate ending, but it's not on the DVD.

    I think this one is even better than the first. Ron Perlman is perfect as Hellboy. del Toro's vision is beautiful! It really adds something to the Hellboy world that was missing in the first movie.

    If you like the Hellboy movies, you should check out the animated ones. Ron Perlman does the voice of Hellboy. Sword of Storms was not real great, but Blood and Iron is a must see for Hellboy fans!

    This movie is good. Really good. I think Ledger took the show...just completely stole it from Bale. Ledger played a very convincing, very scary psycho. I'm not just saying that because it was his last performance before he died. I was surprised at Aaron Eckhart's performance, as well. I've seen him in so many funny roles, it's odd to see him play a more serious character. I like Maggie Gyllenhaal, but I'm not so sure she's quite right in this. Overall, it's never boring. Strong story. Leaves you wondering what they'll do next, without feeling cheated.

    They really don't use much of Jason Statham's normal "Transporter"-type flash, which surprised me. Based on a true story, with enough plot twists to keep you interested. Worth checking out.
