What can I say? I'm here because I LOVE movies!! They are therapy for me and if I could get paid to watch them, I would do it as a job. :o) How many of us wouldn't jump on that, right?
I am an artist at heart and would love, love, love to find an avenue for acting. Movies aren't just for watching, in my opinion. They are an experience waiting to happen. The beauty in them is for that amount of time, reality is suspended and I can get totally lost in what I'm watching. How wonderful is that? |

Quantum of Solace
by ThelmaThis movie follows on from Casino Royale with Bond seeking revenge for the death of his love and also for the man who tries to kill M. Whilst on the war path he uncovers a supposedly green company taking over a country's water supply. Full of action as you would expect, but less cars and Bond girls, less violent and no gadgets.

by ThelmaFunny movie about a dentist who isn't a people person. He has an operation where he dies and is revived. Afterwards he sees dead people and he is obliged to help them with their unfinished business. Good cast.

Burn After Reading
by ThelmaFunny and original movie. John Malkovich quits as a CIA agent and decides to write his memoirs. His wife (Tilda) is having an affair with a married man (George) and decides to leave her husband. A copy of his memoirs is found by two dim witted gym employees (Brad and Frances) who decide to blackmail John to benefit from their find. However, it all goes horribly wrong. A lot of unfortunate incidents make up the rest of the movie, make sure you follow closely.

Eagle Eye
by ThelmaGreat action thriller. If you liked Enemy of the State or Spy Game you will like this one. A guy (Shia) and a single mum (Michelle) gets entanged in a terrorist plot. They have to act quickly to save themselves. They get caught up in armed robbery, fleeing a murder, etc and are chased by the FBI (Billy). This movie is a good pace from start to finish, it will not disappoint. Good cast. Good plot.

by ThelmaUnlikely rom com. Simon Pegg is Sydney a journalist who is always trying to crash the celeb party. See what lengths he will go to. The trailer shows all the best parts but it is still funny all the way through.

The Women
by ThelmaGood girl flick about a group of friends who find out one of their husband's having an affair. It is like an older Sex and the City mix of relationships, careers, etc. Be warned, it is difficult to look at Meg with her plastic surgery she smiles like the Joker!
