SheriffBufordTJustice: Underdog Rocky 'Italian Stallion' Balboa(Sylvester Stallone), an unknown boxer with nothing to lose but to gain going the distance.

Rocky is given the oppurtunity of a life time, he is offered to fight an exibition match against Champion Apollo Creed(Carl Weathers).

Rocky finds love with Adrian(Talia Shire),sister of his friend Paulie(Burt Young). Adrian is a shy timid woman who is the opposite of Rocky.

Mickey Goldmill(Burgess Meredith) an old school boxer who now runs a gym where he trains might be champs. He never gave Rocky a chance till Rocky was offered the exibition match.

Rocky and Apollo fought through out the 15 rounds, Apollo regained his title and although Rocky didn't win the title, he won the glory of going the distance.

This movie was and still is one of the best known movies from the 70s.

Awards:Won 3 Oscars. Another 15 wins & 19 nominations

SheriffBufordTJustice: Of course it's the best of the series. Unlike Die Hard, Rocky keeps the fans coming back for more. I guess Die Hard is more for the sheltered women XD I shall continue about Die Hard with the Rambo reviews :P

As for Rocky II, I love how the movie goes through the mixed emotions Rocky is dealing with. He has his wife preggers, with complications, he is up against Apollo for a rematch, he has proven he can go the distance before but now he is doing it for Adrian and of course me :P
