The Matrix - R I don't think it blew me away quite as much as it did everyone else, probably due to knowing some of the plot. Despite that, it's still a pretty awesome movie. November 4, 2006

Pulse - PG-13 Oooh. Kristen Bell and Ian Somerhalder. In the same movie. I doubt it's my thing but I'll learn a little bit more about it first anyways. August 9, 2006

Collateral - R It's an excellent action-ish thriller, but it's far more human and introspective than most movies of it's kind try to be. Tom Cruise turns in some of the best work of his not always so impressive career, managing to play a hitman in a way that's chilling without being either too over the top or wooden, and Jamie Foxx acts as we, perhaps, would if we were stuck in a car being forced to take such a man on his rounds. There are a few occasions when its cliches catch up with it, but they are rare ones, and more often than not, Collateral is an exciting movie that thoughtfully reflects on how life is lived. Just My Luck - PG-13 It is a matter of fact that I would refuse to see this based on the cover poster alone.

Wait, and that the director did 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.' Yeah, that too.
