Brick Lane is a street in London in a neighborhood of Indians and Muslims. In this scenario the innocent characters are trying to survive. They're suffering from the attack of coup of his own country and the prejudice of the Londoners before and after September 11. The dialogue through letters between the two sisters, one living in London another in India, is extremely touching.
Issues to decide: Should I return or not for my country? Where is my country? Where is the best place for me?
Excellent interpretations - Tannishtha Chatterjee as the beautiful, sweet and quiet Nazneem and Satish Kaushik as the stupid innocent husband Chanu.
I really love Indians movies!

The film is slow and nothing touched me. It doesn't take advantage either of the good actors or the beautiful scenery of the Greek beaches.

I saw it last night and I LOVED this movie! They're short histories but so deeply and with amazing directors and actors Paris, Je Ta'aime:You have to see it many times.... Paris: You have to come back many times...

Please, try to see this movie. It's amazing the way how she told us about her history. It's not for children but there's a special child inside. Delicate and sensitive! I fell in love with Marjane. Je suis son disciple! Now I'll buy the book. I really recommend it!
