HECK YES IT WAS!!!!
This has to be one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time. This was seriously the BEST superhero movie ever.
The dark knight was better than:
the incredible hulk
ironman
batman series
superman returns
hancock
hulk
spiderman series
elektra
the punisher
ghost rider
fantastic four series
the incredibles (LOL)
this was beter than all of that.
The caped crusader,the dark knight, the batman. One of my favorite superheros.
I really didnt care for christian bale in this movie. I think christian was better in batman begins than this movie, but whatever. Morgan Freeman isn't getting old. He should continue to be in every single movie. The guy that played harvey dent was pretty good in this film. His acting was second best in this. Heath Ledger was the star of this movie.
The Joker?? Did ou even get a laugh outta him?
Anyways i like it when the villian has to be so difficult. Like the villian from No Country For Old Men and the villian from SAW series and other villians. The Joker has to be my favorite villian. He tries to make a funny situation to everything. "Why so serious?" IDK joker you tell me. Heath Ledger was a really awesome actor in this movie. I wish he didnt die...oh well. Really freat movie. Deserved 6 stars if possible. GO SEE THIS!!!!Hey, you should really see this!

Fracture
by RichardThere is a dearth of decent, smart, non-meaningful thrillers around at the moment ? films that you can sit, be entertained by, be engaged by, but take nothing away from other than an hour or two?s time-filling and company. Fracture, from the trailers, looked like it would fit the bill quite admirably. Thus onto the world-wide-web I wandered, added to my rental list the title, Fracture, and awaited it?s delivery to my doorstep.
DVD delivered, case opened, disc loaded, TV tuned and buttocks positioned appropriately on the furniture of the lounge. Play.
It?s a crime thriller starring the excellent talents of Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling ? both admirable actors who have, time and again, proven worth watching in many roles. It?s directed by Gregory Hoblit of Frequency, Fallen and Primal Fear fame ? a back-catalogue not to be sniffed at.
The credits roll and the musical score pipes up, provided by Jeff and Mychael Danna. Immediately, the score is tempting and creepy ? perfect for a murder-mystery. It?s haunting, enticing and bleak all at the same time.
The crime is committed and, as is the trend these days, the catch is not ?whodunit? but more how-whodunit-dunit. There is no question that Ted Crawford (Hopkings) has shot his wife and confessed at the scene.
Enter Gosling as young, ambitious Willy Beachum, the District prosecutor who?s going to settle this one last case before stepping up to the big-bucks of corporate law. He walks in to what should be an open-and-shut case, defendant Ted Crawford shunning legal counsel and, even, the opportunity to prepare a case against the acquired evidence. This is an evil genius played by Anthony Hopkings, however, and you can bet the little pebbles that stick in the soles of your shoes that all is not as straightforward as it appears.
The film feels like a good thriller. It looks like a good thriller. Sounds, tastes and smells. The cast is excellent, supporting parts from Rosamund Pike, Cliff Curtis, David Strathairn and Bob Gunton. They are all on very familiar territory here and while their performances are sufficient none are in any danger of giving a riveting performance.
The underlying flaw of the film, however, lies with it?s plot. There is a big ?but? coming, a twist of immense proportions which has hopefully been artfully concealed to this point. Unfortunately the twist on which the plot hinges was, to me, all to obvious and stood out from the word go.
Aiming to avoid spoilers, I shall leave it as said that maybe as an ?entry-level? thriller this film would be a cracker. All the elements are there in perfect measure. However, for anyone paying just a minor amount of attention to the nuances of the story, the film will unravel faster than a ball of cotton in a cathouse.Ladies and Gerbils, I give you my review of Fracture. Feel free to read or disregard, agree with or dispute. The decision... is yours.

El Orfanato (The Orphanage)
by DaisyThis was an awesome movie, spooky with many parts that make you jump but definatly not a horror.
It has you hanging for what happens next and isnt predictable.
A fast paced movie with doesnt lull in any parts.
Its a tragady that breaks your heart when all become apparent at the end but turns out in sort of a good way.
Even for those who dont like subtitles its still a 'must see'.
I only watched it last night and im ready to watch it again!Hey, you should really see this!
