1
Léon (The Professional) (1994,  R)
Léon (The Professional)
One of my favs, inch perfect acting from all corners. Relationship developed on-screen beautifully between Reno and Portman. It has everything action scenes, slick thoughtful music, delicately constructed script flowing nicely over potentially difficult situations and of course one hell of a baddie in Oldman.
2
Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980,  PG)
Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back
The best star Wars film, great new characters, loads of spacefights, the so inviting planet Hoth, an imaginative cloud city. This is just non stop entertainment with new characters and the relationships between the three mains develop well with a great sense of wit and humour between han and leia, an absolute classic
3
The Pink Panther (1963,  Unrated)
The Pink Panther
Sellers in a role he is most comfortable with, a creation of pure genius was his character perfect in so many ways, not the funniest but all good things had to start somewhere, but it opened the book on one of cinemas greatest loveable fools
4
Crash (2004,  R)
Crash
Emotions running wild in this non stop entertainment roller coaster. Some great one off acting from all concerned and deliberately to the point direction, producing a slick Hollywood dusting over social problems that we all encounter in todays world. Very touching

29
Hot Fuzz (2007,  R)
30
The Millionairess (1960,  Unrated)
The Millionairess
Peter Sellers quietly does his bit in a fairly reasonable film, Sim is fantastically himself as the lawyer and Sophia Loren is just divine goddess lookalike. Simple plot that stretches nicely over the duration and the cast weave a bit of lighthearted humour. Her fathers mechanical voice and the kippershop are the highlights
