| Jen R. loves to push boundaries. She's also an aspiring horror writer marketing one novel and plotting out her second. Hence she enjoys the dark, the weird and the obsessive. Her one major bad habit - using list-making as a means of procrastination. |

Hellboy II: The Golden Army (Hellboy 2)
PG-13
I missed out on this series the first time around, but I recommend it to everyone who loves horror, comedy, and action. It's strangely beautiful like Del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth, anyone that loved that will love this.
Smokin' Aces

This movie while highly enjoyable for the sheer volume of character actors in it alone, has a hard time deciding if it's police procedural or mobster movie, or drama or comedy. It has interesting visual's and pretty good music, so it's entertaining enough to watch and enjoy. The story line might have been better if there weren't so many characters, but I don't think I would've enjoyed it as much.
Wanted

If you like explosive action scenes, funny lines, and Angelina Jolie with guns you will like this movie. If you like James McAvoy you will enjoy his role in this movie. Heck, anyone will like this movie because it's fast and fun and freaking cool.
Magnolia

Like all PT Anderson films, this is beautifully filmed and every single one of the actors was great, but in the end I just have to ask why?
Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon
R
This was a very smart play on slasher films. While similar in tone to Scream at times, it holds its own. Well recommended.

Trainspotting

This is the first movie I ever saw with Ewan McGregor and from start to finish I thought he was amazing! The story was great - the characters flawed and richly detailed. Utterly quite perfect!

Aww man, after seeing this movie I wanted to be the Spartan Queen, kill a bunch of people standing by my King and then go home and enjoy myself. Harruh, Harruh!
