| .45 - R | Holy vulgar, Milla Jovovich! That about sums up the movie. It's a very dark, twisted explicit movie about a batter wife in Hell's Kitchen. I didn't really enjoy it but I couldn't turn it off, either. | July 19, 2007 | N/A | |||
| Being John Malkovich - R | July 18, 2007 | N/A | ||||
| Premonition - PG-13 | Wow, I'm surprised at all the flak this movie is getting. There are two serious flaws in the movie that I cannot get over, because of an old friend I'm very particular about timelines and time and stories dealing with flitting back and forth. I liked that fact that the ending wasn?t Hollywood. And for anyone who said they predicted it, GOOD. You were SUPPOSED TO. It was all right. That's all I have to say about it, actually. Oh, and Sandra's character was kinda slow. | July 18, 2007 | N/A | |||
| Equilibrium - R |
If I hear, "Like the Matrix only better" one more time I'm going to beat someone over the face with a club. Okay, I'm exaggerating. People seem to forget (maybe because they've seen The Matrix a gazillion times by the time they saw Equilibrium) but they are similar in a few ways: the leather coats and fighting cinematography. Am I forgetting something?
Nope. I love this movie to death, it's beautiful, the actors are great and it made my heart pitter patter. It's like V for Vendetta, 1984, and dark and just wonderful. But it is in no way better than The Matrix, especially because it is predictable. We had NO clue what was going to happen in The Matrix, and Equilibrium, though lovely, was a tad on the predictable side. Still lovely. But seriously. Come on people. |

| Time and Tide (Shun liu Ni liu) - R | My favorite Hong Kong action movie. I love Nicholas Tse. Great cinematography mixed with a great plot = great movie. | July 18, 2007 | N/A | |||
| Wild Zero - Unrated | Cult classic! I wish Guitar Wolf had been in it more, but it was pretty funny. Zombies, J-Rock, and a drinking game. | July 18, 2007 | N/A | |||
| Lady Ninja - Unrated |
Ahaha. This is like an adult cheesy, "Sailor Moon". Hot babes fighting evil with super ninja magic like, "Nipple Shock Wave" and "Echo Below the Belt".
Downright hilarious. |

| Ghost Rider - PG-13 | Awful. Awful. Bad diologue, bad acting, bad plot. Really, really awful. The effects were good, but apparently they didn't use that money to where it should have gone. It was unrealistic character wise, and just ridiculously cheesy. | July 18, 2007 | N/A | |||
| Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - PG-13 | I liked the cinematography. I struggle with Harry's emo-ness. I wanted more Snape. I laughed. I jumped. I liked it. That is all. | July 12, 2007 | N/A | |||
| Ratatouille - G | Thank you Brad Bird!! This was positively delightful! I could bring my younger sisters to this film without being horrified at the innuendoes (unlike Shrek the Third) and it enjoyed every minute of it myself. | July 6, 2007 | N/A | |||
| Casino Royale - PG-13 | Daniel Craig is James Bond. I will definitely see Bond 22, and it's only because of him and how he was the first to actually realistically bring Bond to life for me. | July 6, 2007 | N/A | |||
| Live Free or Die Hard - PG-13 | For fans of Die Hard, I'm sure it satisfied everyone. I'm not really a Die Hard Fan, but I did see them all. It was what I expected. It was an action film. | July 6, 2007 | N/A | |||
| Bottle Rocket - R | Not quite up there with the rest of the movies, but good all the same. | July 2, 2007 | N/A | |||
| Rushmore - R | Wonderful, unpredictable humor and another Wes Anderson classic. | July 2, 2007 | N/A | |||
| Harold and Maude - PG | You have not lived if you have not seen this movie. | July 2, 2007 | N/A | |||
| Brick - R | Loved it. Flat out loved it. It's like Donnie Darko, about four years from now everyone will be raving about how excellent it was. | July 2, 2007 | N/A | |||
| The Hawk Is Dying - Unrated | The only reason I picked up this film was to see Paul Giamatti's performance. I was not disappointed. I am not going to lie: the movie is hard, slow, and not for everyone, but if you want to see a snippet of something REAL, which you rarely get in Hollywood now, I encourage you to see it. Giamatti is flat out amazing. | July 2, 2007 | N/A | |||
| Hudson Hawk - R | Severly underrated but utterly brilliant. I love the slapstick, over the top humor. | July 2, 2007 | N/A | |||
| Shattered Glass - PG-13 | June 21, 2007 | N/A | ||||
| Battlefield Earth - PG-13 | Oh oh oh oh! We only watched this because it was on the top 10 list of Bad Movies of All Time! It was amazing, haha, a really good laugh. It was as if John Travolta was in a Sci-Fi original movie. I find it hilarious that he's been waiting to make this movie for years and years. Hilarious. Great laugh. That's why the five stars- it's just, the worst movie ever made. Oh god, watch it for the laughs- the LAUGHS! | June 21, 2007 | N/A | |||
