Battle for Haditha
by AnneliesThe American army and George Mother Fucker W Bush should be ashamed. I am at a loss of words.
One soldier is murdered and as a result of that more than twenty innocent citizens are assassinated, just because their house happened to be in front of the place where the road bomb detonated. George W., must a three -year-old child be killed because of this? And its entire family?
After this massacre we hear the soldiers say things like "Great Job!" and "Very professional work!"
In this movie we also see that the real bombers do have small kids at home waiting for them, which disgusts me as much as the American soldiers.
Why does this army exist? Shouldn't we be listening to Al Gore instead and do something about our planet instead of staying in Irak to kill innocent people?
Remember that terrorists have no reason to place road bombs if the Americans are not in the country anymore.
Stupid Americans! Fucking Fascists! Leave Asia and do something about the American unemployed and sick people in your own country! There's enough work to do within the USA!
If you don't want to feel ashamed to be white don't watch this documentary!

Across the Universe
by AnneliesProbably the best soundtrack I have ever heard in a movie! I had the feeling I was watching a very long Peter Gabriel music video seeing all these special effects and colours! But it was a good way to show the doped hippie generation. Jim Sturgess was perfect in the main role, as he has the looks of a very young Paul McCartney. The entire cast in fact had beautiful voices and you certainly don't want to miss the appearance of a hippie Joe Cocker! Great movie!

by AnneliesOkay I must admit it: I have a small crush on Al Pacino so I can't write anything bad about him, can I?
Anyway, the plot of this movie may be very clear to a lot of viewers but for me it took quite a long time before I figured it out and it was a thriller right until the end! You are warned: there are some horrible scenes in this film. Well, I liked this movie! Not the best thriller there is but take a look at it.Hey, you should really see this!

by AnneliesI did not know what to expect and I was terribly bored during the first 15 minutes but then I understood the goal of this movie and it suddenly became fascinating. You get to hear three hours of storytelling. Old stories that have been circling around for centuries. These stories are told by actor August Schellenberg to his grandson, played by Eddie Spears. Each story contains a message and this helps the grandson a great deal during his journey through the USA.
Definitely worth watching if you want a break from Hollywood!Hey, you should really see this!

Cold Comfort Farm
by AnneliesThis is a wonderful movie, there's not a moment of sadness in it. And it's filled with humour.
I have lived in a similar farm myself in northern Sweden for a few years, where time stood still and people were conservative and gloomy and most sons were single. Unfortunately for me my impact on that farm wasn't as successful as Miss Poste's, so I left the farm at last.
I must say I love this fairytale farm story more than my real-life experience!Hey, you should really see this!
