Now, let me say, I'm not at all one of those die-hard Hitchcock fans. But this film is absolutely perfect! Every single element is executed perfectly, and all the acting is superb, particularly that of John Dall. His almost constant selfish air of superiority is purely intoxicating. This is, in my opinion, Hitchcock's best film, of the ones that I've seen. It really cements his title, in my mind, as The Master of Suspense. |
