Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End

Loved it!!!!! I love all the Pirates movies. They are great entertainment. I love Johnny Depp(as always) but I have to say Orlando was just as hot if not hotter in this movie!

by ThelmaAn unusual movie for Will. He plays a drunk superhero who is disliked by the public because of the damage he does to their city. One day he saves a public relations person, who wants to clean up his image. Good cast.

Kung Fu Panda
by ThelmaKung Fu Panda sounds like a naf title but this is a funny animation about an unlikely kung fu hero. Po is a Panda, big and clumsy and working in a noodle shop. His dream comes true when he has to fulfil the prophecy to become a kung fu hero. But will he make it? Great graphics and famous voice overs by Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman and Angelina Jolie.

The Happening
by ThelmaNot much happens in the Happening! It starts off good but once they start to run through the fields and then meet the weird old lady it all goes down hill. I found the plot and acting pretty lame.
Hi It's not very often that I don't recommend a movie. In case you wanted to see this, I'd wait until it goes to rental or even on TV. All round - disappointing.

Gone Baby Gone
by ThelmaExcellent movie and plot. Patrick (Casey) a private detective is hired by the family of a missing girl to find her. He works with his girlfriend and two detectives to find the girl. The plot is complex and people are not how they appear but it is all revealed in the end. Great performances from Casey Affleck, Morgan Freeman and Ed Harris. It reminds me of 'Alphadog' - very gritty, not the usual beautiful Hollywood types - but real people. Makes it more believable.

by ThelmaCostume drama with Alfred (Christian) and Robert (Hugh) as rival magicians, competing to perform the best and original magic trick. Great cast and plot.
