The community hires Max, as Max agrees to help the community transport the gasoline across the highway and fight for freedom, as they are pursued by the Humangus and his warriors. Review: I always loved the Mad Max series since i was a kid and i was curious to see The Road Warrior because it s considered as the best movie of George Miller s apocalyptic trilogy.When i first watched Mad Max:The Road Warrior,it blew me away and is definetly one of the greatest action movies of all time and an oustanding improvement of the movie.Mad Max:The Road Warrior is the kind of movie that will never be beaten and puts into the shame those CGI craps of today.Mad Max:The Road Warrior is an standard in the action genre.  Flixster - Share Movies Mel Gibson returns as the futuristic ex-cop Max Rockatansky aka Mad Max,after defeating The Toecutter and his gang and avenging his family death in the first movie.In this movie,Max becomes a drifter and travels in the dangerous roads of a apocalyptic Australia with his V -8 Interceptor but suddenly he get involved into a war between Papagallo s tribe and the dogs of war leaded by the Humungus.Gibson was fantastic because he makes Max a mysterious but tortured character and at a same time a complete badass aswell.Mel Gibson is one of the reasons why Mad Max is a great series and i hope he makes the fourth one.I loved Vernon Wells as Wez,the most dangerous of the dogs of war.I loved him as Bennett in Commando but he s a one sick fucker in this movie.Wells makes Wez a relentless villain that has no mercy to his enemies.Bruce Spence was funny as The Gyro Captain,bringing a lot of humour to the picture and Michael Preston give a decent perfomance as Papagallo. George Miller makes a bigger,better and a more violent movie than the first movie.Miller s direction was fantastic and he delivers with the most spectacular action sequences ever made.The road scenes are absolutely insane that will thrill you every minute. Mad Max:The Road Warrior is one of the greatest action movies of all time and the best movie of series.This classic is one of my all time favorites movies and it won t be a explosive action experience like this masterpiece.Greatest action movie of all time. |

Review: After hunting Arnold Schwarzenegger in the jungle,the Predator returns to continue his hunt and this is in the hot city of LA.The original movie remains as one of the best action movies ever and when Predator 2 came out in back,it didnīt grab the audience like the first.But is a preety good action movie and is even more violent and intense.If you love the first one,you will enjoy this one too.  Flixster - Share Movies Danny Glover is the Predatorīs newest opponent,Lt.Mike Harrigan.I always love him since Lethal Weapon but in this movie heīs a complete badass.Not a bad replacement for Arnold who unfortunately refused to come back.Glover may not have the muscles but he sure kicks real ass.Gary Busey was great as Peter Keys.In this movie,we ll learn a lot about the Predator s origins thanks to this mysterious character.Kevin Peter Hall(RIP)suits up to the role of the ultimate hunter once again.He really kills everybody from colombians to jamaicans and not even the cops canīt escape from him.The Predator is indeed the most badass creature of movie history. The most horrifying scene of the film is when Predator ripps off King Willieīs spine and also the subway mayhem. Stephen Hopkins did a great job in this one.He may be not have the brilliance of John McTiernan but he was able to give a bloody violent movie.He did a good job on Predator 2 but i could expect more for Hopkins. Predator 2 may not better than its predecessor but is worthy sequel and a lot better than AVP crap.Bring it Predators because the hunting season is on. |

Things get out of hand as Colonel Trautman Rambo's old commander appears to shed light on the situation Review: First Blood is an excellent and exciting action-thriller that started one of the most famous movie series of action:Rambo.This movie is brilliant because is very realistic and violent that reflects on the return of Vietname veterans to their home and the reception of their homecoming.Either way,First Blood is one of the best movies ever made.  Flixster - Share Movies Sylvester Stallone delivers an amazing perfomance as John Rambo,one of the most emblematic roles of his career.I love Sly as Rambo more than Rocky because Rambo is a man who wants to find peace with himself but unfortunately he gets pushed by the cops and all hell breakes.Stallone is one of of most iconic screen heroes of all time along Scwarzenegger and don t matter what people say,i couldn t imagine another actor playing Rambo.Richard Crenna was fantastic as Colonel Sam Trautman,Rambo s mentor and father figure.Crenna has such a great presence in this movie and the follow sequels and chemisrty between Trautman and Rambo is amazing.Brian Dennehy was great as Teasle,the man who makes a big mistake to push Rambo but his perfomance was fantastic as usual.And we witnessed the first appearence of Horatio Caine himself,David Caruso. Ted Kotcheff s direction was brilliant and less brainless like in the sequels(with the exception of Rambo 4)and is for the most realistic as the other movies. First Blood is the best movie of Rambo quadrilogy and an oustanding action mastepierce that will live on forever and if you like Rambo,you will definetly enjoy this movie. |

Flixster - Share Movies Sigourney Weaver delivers an excellent and improved perfomance as Ellen Ripley.She looks even better than in the first movie.Sigourney is one of the greatest actresses of all time and she s the original action lady of Hollywood.Ripley is one of my favorite movie heroes because she dominates a genre dominated by men but she left her mark as the most iconic female hero of all time.Ripley is much stronger in this movie because the events of the first movie affect her mentally but she faces her own fear like she knows best.Sigourney became a icon thanks to Ripley.Michael Biehn was great as Corporal Hicks but i like him more in The Terminator,Bill Paxton is soo cool as Hudson.He s the coolest character of the entire movie and Jennette Goldstein is badass as Vasquez.Carrie Hehn is so adorable as Newt and i love the scenes with her and Ripley .And of course,the aliens were fantastic and this movie marks the first appearence of the Alien Queen. James Cameron is indeed one of the greatest directors of all time.He really directs Aliens with his signature and he makes a bigger and better movie than the first one.Cameron is one of the best reasons that i love this movie and his other movies aswell and he will bring another masterpiece with Avatar. Aliens is one of my all time favorite movies and is better than those CGI craps of today.23 years later after it s release,Aliens is one of the greatest action sci fi movies of all time and a timeless masterpiece.Cameron rules!!!! |

Flixster - Share Movies Henry Thomas delivers a memorable perfomance as Elliott,the little boy who finds ET and becomes friendly of the beloved alien.Few child actors wouldn t pull off the role like Thomas did because he s just a kid like everybody else but he s very loyal to his friends.The scenes between ET and Elliot are absolutely heartbreaking because we can feel the love and the connection between them.Drew Barrymore was so cute as Gerty,Elliott s little.She was a cutey back then(she still is) and is definetly her most memorable role of her career.The real star of the movie is definetly ET,the most beloved alien of all time.E.T is one of my favorite movie creatures because he has a cuteness and innocence that conquers you immediately.He may be a puppet but E.T has a lot of soul that will make the audience fall in love with him. Steven Spielberg delivers here one of his greatest movies and the most beloved of his legendary career.Spielberg brings a unique magic and brilliance to the movie that made ET a wonderfull cinematic masterpiece.Only Spielberg would make a beautifull movie like E.T because he s the greatest movie director of all time. Flixster - Share Movies Harrison Ford delivers a fantastic perfomance as Deckard,the ex-cop who is asigned to kill fugitve replicants.Ford confessed that Blade Runner is the most complicated movie he s ever done in his brilliant career.Deckard is very different from Han Solo and Indiana Jones but Harrison nailed the part perfectly.He gives such a charm and vulnerability to Deckard that makes his perfomance very realistic.For me,is Harrison s best perfomance and i couldn t imagine this movie without him.Sean Young is absolutely stunning as Rachael and her perfomance is preet decent.She s a mystery in the beggining because we question if she s or not a replicant.The chemistry between Deckard and Rachael is really electrifying and a must see aswell.Rutger Hauer is the best actor in the movie with his fantastic perfomance as the leader of the replicants,Roy Batty.That perfomance is truly deserfull of a Oscar.Hauer dominates the movie specially in his remarkable speech in the ending,probably one of the best endings ever made.Edward James Olmos didn t show up a lot but his presence is very powefull and so his perfomance.We also see Daryl Hannah for the first time as Pris but she was even better in Kill Bill. Ridley Scott directs his most remarkable masterpiece,setting a new standard in science fiction just like he did with Alien in 1979.Scott directs masterfully this movie,showing a darker side of his personality that i could feel.Blade Runner shows how great director Ridley Scott is and he showed it with Thelma and Louise and Gladiator. Blade Runner will go down in history as one of the greatest masterioieces of science fiction along 2001,Star Wars and Alien.This is such a phenomenal movie that will live on forever no matter how many years.Thank you Ridley Scott on creating one of the greatest movies of all time.Masterpiece. |

Review: Escape From New York is a spectacular futuristic action thriller and a fantastic classic of the 80 s.When i first saw it,i loved it because it was very dark and dystopic back in the time but is freaking awesome.Personally,is one of the most orginal movies i ve ever seen and it doesn t deserve a remake because there s no way to beat this classic of John Carpenter.Escape From New York is a futuristic adventure full of action and suspense.  Flixster - Share Movies Kurt Russell is the perfect choice for one of the most coolest heroes ever created:Snake Plissken.I love Snake because he doesn t care about anyone but himself and at same time he s very resourcefull and a complete badass too.I couldn t imagine this movie without Russell because he s such a cool actor and he will be always associated to Snake Plissken.Lee Van Cleef is a current presence in the westerns but he was great as Bob Hawk,the man who makes Snake to go to New York and save the president.I think it was one of the last appearences of Van Cleef.If is,too bad because he was amazing.Soul legend Issac Hayes was awesome as the Duke of New York and i loved his perfomance.I didn t know that Hayes could act that good and i was preety impressed about him.This is one of the movies that gave me the chance to remind him because he s a legend.The rest of the cast was great specially Harry Dean Stanton as Brain. John Carpenter directs another classic.Carpenter is one of the best directors of all time and he delivered classics like Halloween and The Thing and Escape From New York.I hope that Carpenter brings another original movie because we need movies like that. Escape From New York is a instant Carpenter classic and a spectacular futuristic adventure.I want another Escape movie because i want to see Snake back more badass then never.Until then,Escape From New York remains a classic. |

Now a race begins between computers (HAL) and man (Bowman) to reach the monolith-placers, the winner will achieve the next step in evolution, whatever that may be. Review: I was interested to see 2001:A Space Odissey because i ve heard great things about this movie and also i m a huge Stanley Kubrick fan.When i first saw it,it was very hard to describe how did i feel because this movie blew me away and i was extremely focused(that rarely happens,actually).2001 is one of the beautiifull and visually stunning movies of all time and a landmark in science fiction.If you think that Star Wars was a revolution,think again because 2001 is a unique movie and personally no other sci fi movie will achieve perfection like 2001 did.  Flixster - Share Movies 2001 s plot is kind of simple.It starts right in the beggining of mankind back in the time of cavemen and monkey scene was phenomenal and takes to the year of 2001 where a man called Bowman explores space with his computer HAL.Keir Dullea is a actor i ve never heard before but he gives a great perfomance in this masterpiece.Bowman is very intelligent and at the same curious,questioning himself if there life way beyond space.2001 takes the audience to the a whole new world and the music is magical and envolving that grabed me in the first minute.The visual effects are the best i ve ever seen and a landmark back in the 60 s and a very original plot aswell. Stanley Kubrick is definetly a master of cinema.2001 is the first and only science fiction but Kubrick managed to create a stunning masterpiece along A Clockwork Orange,The Shining and Full Metal Jacket.Kubrick s inspiration is very influential in other future sci fi masterpieces like Star Wars,Alien ,Blade Runner,Encounters in the 3rd Kind,ET and the upcoming Avatar. 2001:A Space Odissey is the most influential science fiction movie of all time and a stunning masterpiece courtesy of Kubrick that gained a special place in my life.Rest in Peace Mr.Kubrick.Your movies will live on forever and 2001 is no exception. |

Review: Star Trek is one of the most emblematic science fiction sagas of all time.I know Star Trek but i wasn t a huge fan because it was so damn lame and wasn t fun like Star Wars.When i heard of new ST film directed by JJ Abrams,i felt that is something special about this movie and i was right.Star Trek blew me away when i saw in the theaters and is one spectacular ride.Not only respects the legacy of the original series but takes the legend to a whole new direction.Star trek is the most spectacular sci fi adventure since the orginal Star Wars.  Flixster - Share Movies Chris Pine delivers an amazing perfomance as James T.Kirk,the legendary captain of the Enterprise.Pine was phenomenal and he s truly a great successor of William Shatner.I liked the idea of Kirk being a rebel and not a complete dork.Chris makes Kirk a cocky and reckless guy but he becomes a real man and a true leader aswell.Chris Pine is a great actor and he will definetly become a huge star.Zachary Quinto is absolutely amazing as Spock.He portrayed the role with the same class and talent of Leonard Nimoy.I liked the scene where he beats Kirk and he soon realizes that he s more human than vulcan.Zack is a talented actor and he s a worthly successor of Mr.Nimoy.Eric Bana was absolutely scary and intense as Nero.Nero is such a phsycothic romulan who wants revenge for the destruction of his home planet.I loved Bana in this film more than in the Hulk.The other actors were great including John Cho as Sulu,Zoe Saldana as Uhura(i m so in love with her),the hilarious Simon Pegg as Scotty and Karl Urban as Bones McCoy.It was great to see Leonard Nimoy back as the original Spock.He s truly the heart and soul of Star Trek. JJ Abrams has done it again and he shows how a Star Trek movie should be done.Abrams managed to mix the excitement and fun of Star Wars with the realism and emotion of The Wrath of Khan.Abrams is truly a genious.The visual effects are amazing and Michael Giacchino s amazing score gives a great energy to the movie. Star Trek is one of the greatest movies of 2009 and the best summer blockbuster of the year.I hope they make more good ST movies as good as this one.Star Trek is back ready to boldly go where no other movie has gone before.Mastepiece of science fiction. |

Now Megatron is back seeking revenge and with Starscream and more Decepticon reinforcements on the way, the Autobots with reinforcements of their own, may have more to deal with then meets the eye. Review: I was so excited for Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen because i loved the first one so much that i wanted to see the unending war between the Autobots and Decepticons once again.I was kinda reluctant because of the bad reviews but that didn t stop me to watch another explosive action blockbuster and thank god Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen didn t dissapoint me at all.The action is so intense,the visual effects are even more spectacular and is preety dark.also maintains the spirit of the brilliant first installement.Either way,Revenge of the Fallen is a great sequel and the most explosive blockbuster of the year.  Flixster - Share Movies Shia LaBeouf delivers a great perfomance as Sam Witwicky.He s more mature and secure with himself but not only has to deal with the robots again but he also has to deal with his new life in college and his relationship with Micaela.LaBeouf managed to give a more mature perfomance,kinda similar to Mark Hamill in The Empire Strikes Back but Shia was great as he now is.Megan Fox is more hotter than ever as Micaela.She is something more than meets the eye and her perfomance was great too.Megan knows how to bring sexyback to a movie and i can t wait for Jennifer s Body.John Turturro is also back as Simmons.He was freaking hilarious in the movie.The Transformers are also back to steal the show.Optimus Prime is back with more backup and Bumblebee is back too not to mention Megatron and the appearence of a new Transformer:The Fallen,a ancient transformer who wants to destroy the earth and by the way,he doesn t get his revenge. Michael Bay brings another explosive action blockbuster just like he knows.The action scenes are spectacular specially the forest fight following tto the death of Optimus Prime,the most heartbreaking scene of the movie and the explosive desert scene. Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen is a great sequel of the originai and one kick ass movie.One of the most spectacular blockbusters of the year,Revenge of the Fallen delivers 2 hours of insane action.Recommedable for the Transformers fans.Bring it Transformers 3 in 2011. |

Review: I was suprised when i heard of a new Die Hard movie and i was so excited because is one of my favorite series.PG-13 or not,Live Free or Die Hard is spectacular.Is brilliant as the original and is full of action and explosions,trademark of the franchise.It was amazing to see John McClane back in action 20 years since the original Die Hard.  Flixster - Share Movies Bruce Willis is back as John McClane 12 years after Die Hard with a Vengeance.Boy,it was great to see Willis in a kick ass action movie,specially a Die Hard sequel.McClane is older,crankier and bold.But he s still determined and tough as he usually is.Willis was amazing as McClane just he was in Die Hard 1 and i hope he makes more.Justin Long was so hilarious as Matt Farell.He brought a great level of comedy and he has a great chemistry with Willis.Timothy Oliphant was a decent villain as Thomas Gabriel but he is not a real bad buy like Alan Rickman as Hans Gruber.Gabriel is more a guy with anger issues.I absolutely loved Mary Elizabeth Wisntead was fantastic as Lucy McClane.She is a great mix between John and Holly. Len Weisman did a excellent job.His direction was brilliant and well controled just like John McTiernan in the original.Weisman redefined the series once again this time for a new generation. Live Free or Die Hard was amazing and it s one of the best action movies of 2007 along Transformers and The Bourne Ultimatum.Yippee Ki Yay,Motherfucker. |

Review: The craziest time travel of all time continues in Back to the Future 2,the sequel of one of the most successfull comedies of all time and the second installment of the adventures of Marty McFly and Doc Emmett Brown.I enjoyed the original but i enjoyed this one even more.Is more funnier and hilarious but at the same time is very fun to watch.Back to the Future 2 is a great sequel that i can watch everytime.  Flixster - Share Movies Michael J.Fox is once again great as Marty McFly.I love him because he makes Marty such a funny character and he s even more cooler than in the first movie.From using future jackets to future skateboards,Marty enters into a crazy adventure in the future.Michael J.Fox is such a amazing actor and i hope he gets better.Christopher Lloyd is absolutely hilarious as Doc Brown and he is indeed the perfect mad scientist.And of course the Delorean is also back to take our heroes to a crazy travel back throw time.Biff is also back.He s the most funniest character of the series because he s such a douchebag(in a nice way,of course). Robert Zemeckis make a even more entertaining movie but he maintains the same ingredients that made the orginal movie a huge sucess and a instant classic. Back to the Future Part 2 is a great sequel of the original and has become my favorite of the series.There won t be another funnier and spectacular trilogy like Back to the Future.Classic movie of the 80 s. |

Flixster - Share Movies Matt Damon gives a fantastic perfomance as Jason Bourne.I was suprised to see Damon in a action movie and i was never a huge fan of him but he really nailed the part perfectly.Damon makes Bourne a tortured and a very realistic character and i love how Bourne reacts in very situations he is in.I canīt imagine a Bourne film without Damon and he will be always be associated to this amazing character.Franka Potente was great as Marie,Jasonīs love interest,Chris Cooper was spectacular as Conkiln,Brian Cox was fantastic as usual and we see Clive Owen for the first time. I m not a fan of Doug Liman but he did a great job in Bourne.His direction was good but Paul Greengrass is a better director in my opinion.Anyway,this is Limanīs best movie along Mr.e Mrs.Smith. The Bourne Identity is a pumping-adrenaline rush and one of the best spy movies ever made that puts James Bond into a shame.Probably one of the best movies of 2002. |

Review: The Bourne Supremacy is one of the best action thrillers i ve ever seen and a excellent sequel of the brilliant first installment.This is the first Bourne movie i saw and it grabed me from the beggining to the end.Supremacy has more action,more intensity and a brilliant plot that will lead to the events of the Bourne Ultimatum.Some people may not agree with me but Supremacy is one of the sequels ever made.  Flixster - Share Movies Matt Damon gives a even better perfomance as Jason Bourne.In this movie,Bourne is stlli tortured by his past and he also lost his love Marie,forcing Bourne to attack his creators and find the man who murdered Marie.I love Damon as Bourne because he makes the character very tortured and more realistic than James Bond.Matt Damon IS Bourne,nuff said.Joan Allen makes a excellent addiction to the series as Pamela Landy.Landy believes that Bourne killed hs men and begins a relentless chase to catch Bourne but she finds out that she was wrong.Allen s perfomance was fantastic and she s a wonderfull actress.Brian Cox is once great as Abbott and Julia Stlies also returns as Nicky Parson.Karl Urban was intense as Bourne s newest enemy. Paul Greengrass s direction is even better than Doug Liman s direction in the first movie.Greengrass is one of the best directors ever and he hasn t dissapoint me yet.He brings more intensity and realism to Bourne and the car chase is one of the bests i ve ever seen in years. The Bourne Supremacy is a excellent second installement of the trilogy and one of the best movies of 2004 along Spider-Man 2,Million Dollar Baby and Collateral.Masterpiece. |
