As I'm watching this movie, I feel like it makes obvious and valid points - most importantly "If he doesn't call you, move on and don't make excuses". It continued to do well until the ending, which altogether flopped with the "Everyone lives happily ever after" feel, that took so long to explain everyone's happy ending. I assume the book handled this much better, but I can't say I really liked this movie. If it comes on again, I may watch it and judge it further, but right now I say it's not terrible, nor great - watch it if you want.
The dynamic between the two main characters was hy-larious. Matthew's awkwardness made Nathan's advances enhance. I love the way that Matthew got a few dances that he seemed to enjoy, and Nathan's eyebrows ability to wiggle in every way imaginable! Did I mention his spastic Timón voice (Lion King)? Also great. The Swedish might have been a little off, but Uma is quite a treat ~ she is *stunning* There's also the surprise of Will, and his Hitler lovin'. Music that deserves some lovin', and a silly, but enjoyable plot with characters to love afterwords. And Mel's starring roles as both a cat and bird gets a <3 or two <3 <3
Seth Green, Robin Williams, and John Travolta <3 All right! I think it'll be good for a watch - perhaps like Wild Hogs, which was mildly amusing... even to catch it on tv occasionally
Sexual innuendos through the entire thing, though it's a promotion of abstinence? It's a hypocritical work that hasn't anything to save itself 'cides the "I'll blow your friggin' head off" bit or the much needed action sequence at the end. I also liked Dakota's role - as, you know, how vampires are supposed to be - "powerful and beautiful" :P
Some say they just pieced together old episodes, but I say it's a fantastic movie to lead people into the series. Perhaps it was simply to revive it? Hmmm
Read this book in class. Can't wait to see it, though I'm pretty sure it will be fail - as a novel told through two people's dialogue, and a lot of monologue
Man, just look at all those actors that lent their voices. You'd expect big things. And you totally should 'cause it's pretty awesome. They managed to sneak in geeky jokes, make political stabs, but keep the kids entertained the entire time. Literally, a movie for everyone. LOVED IT!
Technically, I've seen it, but this little ploy to spend munnies 'cause fandom love must have the COMPLETE collection puts me off. I'll watch it sometime~
