Daybreakers takes place in the future where humans have been transformed into bloodsucking vampires by a disease that infected the world's population. The vampires feel their running out of blood where they try to keep it up by killing any human remaining alive. Meanwhile, a researcher named Edward Dalton (Ethan Hawke) who comes across these vampire hunters (Willem Dafoe) & (Claudia Karvan) who were once vampires but found a cure to change them back into human. Edward & the hunters work together to try & turn every vampire back to normal but a fearless vampire leader (Sam Neill) likes what he has become & won't have it. Now, Edward & the hunters must start a battle where imortality & humanity fight for their race.

The Getaway is an action/thriller remake about a caper couple named Doc Carter McCoy (Alec Baldwin) & his astouding wife, Carol (Kim Basinger) who have been callled upon by a wealthy bussiness man, Jack Benyon (James Woods) to pull off a dangerous heist. When Doc & Carol get the job complete, things go terribly wrong for them when they find out that they have been betrayed by Benyon as he sends a bunch of men to hunt down the couple along with the money. Everywhere Doc & Carol turn danger heads towards them where they have no choice to defend theirselves during violent shootouts & high speed chases to stay alive.

The Getaway is a fun, exciting ride from start to finish. It's extremely entertaining actioner filled with heartponding suspense & electryfying action at every turn. When I first watched this, I didn't know that it was a remake. I haven't seen the original so i can't tell ya if it was better than the remake. I can tell ya this, that I found this remake to be good. Alec & Kim are at their best which by the way makes a wonderful couple even though sometimes they argue too much but I guess thats the extent of their relationship. The married couple acted as it was in real life. They were both good & enjoyed their performances. Warning: this film does display some strong sexuality exspecially in the uncut & unrated version which may violate to younger viewers. Even though this wasn't a great action film. It had fantastic moments of gunplay where it used some of John Woo slo-mo in some scenes that I found intriguing. I loved the way that was put in where it made the action stylistic in those sequences. Their's a good shootout towards the end that has lots of the slo-mo going on. One of the best shootouts i've witnessed in a long time. I just thought this was exhilerating film with good plot, good acting, good action, & shocking suspense. All this film is good for is entertainment & that's exactly what it gives ya. The Getaway is adventurous story driven sexy action/thriller filled with explosive mindblowing gunfights & chases that keeps you rooting for more.

John McClane (Bruce Willis) is back in this fast paced action packed rollercoaster ride. This time around John has to face to new daring enemy named Thomas Gabriel (Timothy Olyphant) who wants to shut down the United States. Now, with the help of a computer hacker (Justin Long) by John's side, together they must stop Gabriel & save the world. This time its not so easy for John. As John & the hacker are trying to stop Gabriel's plan, Gabriel takes someone that's really close to John, his daughter Lucy McClane (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), that ticks John off that much worse about Gabriel. Now, John puts his live on the line to stop Gabriel's plan by taking out the bad guys & getting back his daughter by any means necessary. Live free or Die Hard is my favorite out of the Die Hard trilogy. It is very entertaining filled with alot of high voltage action sequences from the start & doesn't stop till the final conclusion. The action stunts were so real which made this movie even better to watch. My favorite sequence was when John McClane blew up a hellicopter with a car & he said he was out of bullets. That was the best memorable scene of the movie I think.

Bruce Willis does another outstanding job as our hero. I just love seeing him having fun in his role which makes this film that much more enjoyable to watch. Even though this one is PG-13, Bruce still kills the bad guys in brutal violent ways. Bruce still is my favorite actor today & probably will ever be.

Logo Designer Timothy Olyphant who is Bruce's nemisis in this one is very dark & full of anger.I thought Timothy's character Thomas Gabriel was John McClane's worst so far because of the fact that he had the guts to take his daughter & tried to kill him. From seeing Timothy's performance in this movie, he is now officially one of my favorite actors. Timothy has the right stuff to play any character he wants. Hope to see him take on more evil roles like this.
Logo Designer What can I say about Justin Long, BRILLANT!!! Justin's acting ceases to improve everytime i see him star in a film. Justin almost stole his film by his intelligence. It was defenitly a shocker for me to see Justin take on a role of a computer hacker who has to have smarts into knowing waht he's doing. He defenitly pulled it off. Justin is going to very big star soon. Can't wait to see him in more movies. Most talented young actor yet.

The young a sexy Mary Elizabeth Winstead who played the daughter, Lucy. All I can say is she's on her way to a great career. Mary has a big future in the future. She also looks like she could pass for a model as one of the sexiest young actresses. Mary played her role very well & made & impact on this trilogy by portraying Bruce Willis's daughter.

Logo Designer Maggie Q who was Olyphant's hot asian operator/assassin made her character believable enough. Maggie is the first asian actress that can actually act. I just loved watching her kick John's butt & listening to her sexy accent. Maggie should pass for a model too. Hope to see her in more films such as action like this one. Maggie is one my favorite actresses that has come so far as a good actress. Hope she keeps up the good work showing her acting & looks off in films in the furture. If you haven't seen this movie yet, go out & grab yourself a copy on dvd because its a must own. They have an Unrated & Theactrical Version. The Unrated one is the best because it has alot of scenes that wern't shown in the original. Trust me this movie is worth buying & adding to your DVD collection. It's the best Die Hard yet. John McClane: "Yippi-kay-ay, motherfu - " John McClane: I'm going to go kill this guy & get my daughter or go get my daughter & kill this guy, kill all of them. John McClane: Mai? Oh, yeah. Little Asian chick, likes to kick people? I don't think she's gonna be talkin' to anybody for a really long time. Last time I saw her she was at the bottom of a elevator shaft with an SUV rammed up her ass. John McClane: Yeah, you had to dispatch all units for all the naked people walkin' around? John McClane: I know I'm not as smart as you guys with all this computer shit. But, hey... I'm still alive, ain't I? I mean, you've *got* to be running out of bad guys by now, right? Huh? Gabriel? Honestly, you can tell me. I mean, how does that work? Got some kind of service or something? Some kind of 800 number? 1-800-HENCHMEN? Oh, you know what? I bet you're still on hold with, "Can I get another dead Asian hooker bitch over here right away?" John McClane: I could come and find you, kick your ass and throw you out of your own party. What do you think about that, dickhead? 5 stars

Face Off is an awesome action packed movie about a cop named Sean Archer who gets revenge by capturing the one man Castor Troy who accidentally killed his son. Years later, Archer captured Troy in a hangout at a airport during a violent shootout. When Archer caught Troy, he also caught his brother during the process & found something in his brief case containing information about a bomb they planted in a building. There is only one problem, Archer doesnt know which building the bomb is hidden in. Now, the only way Archer can find out that info & bring Castor down, is for Archer to take Troy's identity by becoming him so he can trap him.

Logo Designer Face off has a ton nonstop action sequences including shootouts, chasing, & explosions throughout. The acting was great from everyone including the main stars of the movie which are John Travolta & Nicolas Cage. It has alot of bad language so dont be suprised when you watch this film. John Woo did excellent job with the gunfight scenes & set pieces. I really enjoyed this film & I'm sure everyone else will feel the same way too. This is also a very entertaining action flick so you wont be bored one bit while watching it. Overall, I recommend this movie for action junkies only, nothing more. Face Off is a rocket.full adrenaline pumping action. To destroy your enemy, you must find him, face him, and then... become him. 5 stars
