Wasn't no where near as good as "Airplane" or "The Naked Gun" movies, but there were a few funny moments. But overall, it could have been a much better spoof. It was good to see Drake Bell of "Drake and Josh" in a movie though.
I mainly went to see this movie in IMAX to see the 6 minute 'Dark Knight' prologue, but ended up enjoying this movie more than I thought I would. Even though some people didn't like the ending, it sort of made the movie for me because it portrayed a subtle message that wasn't preachy.
It was great to see Captain Malcolm Reynolds find something to believe in once again; as well as get back at the Alliance in a way he never got to during the Battle of Serenity Valley.
Great movie! The ending, which I won't reveal, did have me cracking up, though, because it reminded me of a much more mature "Three Stooges" running gag.
I've been excited for this movie for the longest. I've even been making routine trips back and forth from Indiana to Chicago in order to catch glimpses of the filming. So far the highlights of what I've seen was Christopher Nolan walking to the set, Christian Bale covered up and going into his driver's car, a lamborghini which could belong to Bruce Wayne, and hearing what appeared to be Christian Bale yelling during a scene in a parking garage where some thugs are rumored to be using some attack dogs on Batman.
