Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
R
What an amazing piece of work crafted by none other than the wizard himself...Tim Burton.
Full of ingredients like the amazing genius Steven Sondhiem's writings, the amazing, quirky, legend Johnny Depp, the wonderfully, amazingly talented Helena Bonham Carter, The legendary Alan Rickman and the great Sacha Baron Cohen all under the direction of as I said, the wizard himself Tim Burton you get a result of a mind blowing masterpiece that will have you stunned, thrilled and in awe for every second.
Sweeney Todd, like and unlike many musicals has an amazing, artistic darkness..as it is a tragedy.
Sweeney (who used to be Benjamin Barker) is a man who is so deeply emotionally damaged from when his family was literally ripped away from him. Now all Sweeney lives for is revenge by killing Judge Tupin...his loathed enemy, the one who was the cause for his years and years of emotional torture. The way Johnny pulls this off is just here comes that word again....amazing. Throughout the whole movie you can see the hurt Sweeney is feeling just in his eyes...Johnny acts this out so well and completely connects with Sweeneys feelings and just delivers it beautifully.
Mrs Lovett wishes Sweeney didn't think of killing so much, and rather more of her future with him. She is deeply in love with Sweeney who does not love her back and is constantly trying with her best efforts to have him fall in love with her. But Mrs Lovett also has a darkish side to her, just like Sweeney. Just because someone tried to blackmail Mr T and for it, got their throat cut...she sighs with relief when she finds out with the excuse of "thats a different matter" and says "for a moment there I thought you'd lost your marbles" which is a great joke because actually, in a way...he has. Helena really does a great job as Ms Lovett, really showing her character to the audience well.
This movie, all in all...just had me completely and utterly amazed...an old, legendary stroy...redone by another legend with a legendary cast. Most of said story told through song sung by many actors that people would not expect to be singers and they all did the most marvellous job. I give this masterpiece five starts...one that I will definitely be trying to go and see again and again...and eventually buy the dvd to watch again and again. One of Johnny's best...I really do hope he wins his long awaited oscar for this one...otherwise I dont know what he would win it for...
mind blowing

Finding Neverland
PG
This is extremely close to the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. The way it's focus is on imagination is just so great...we should all be reminded of our inner child, no matter how old, or who we are. Johnny's performance was just great. Something, yet again different than any other role of his and the way his inner child was shown was gorgeous. He was really just a boy inside a mans body. And Kate Winslet's performance in this has made her one of my favorite actresses. Her character she plays, Sylvia is just played so well, her acting is just superb and she just has such a motherly, natural look and feel about her. This film is one that has gotten probably the most emotion out of me. The music just gets me every time...especially at the end! Finding Neverland just bursts with the words creativity and inspiration. It is definitely also a great movie to watch if you're in a down mood... It's so uplifting...and motivating. It gives me the warm and fuzzies :) BEAUTIFUL

Domino
R
Having me completely stunned and in awe, this movie is now one of my favourite movies. Domino (played by Keira Knightley) is a character that had me so intrigued that as soon as it was over I hit that play button again! Keira's performance in this movie is simply amazing...She pulled the whole "tough chick thing" (something that she was accused of faking by a guy who soon after recieved a huge punch in the nose) beautifully. She was just perfect. She really let you get to know this character through every step of the movie...pouring out her thoughts to the viewers only but never anyone in the movie. If I were the real Domino I would be very proud thats for sure! But aswell as Keira...there was amazing performances by people like Mickey Rourke and Christopher Walken and many others aswell who all just played their parts beautifully and made this film into a masterpiece. Also...on the technical side...the camera styles used by Tony Scott were just amazing. It was a very unique style...alot appearing hand held and that combined with the great unique lighting style really made the movie even better. These fast, bumpy camera syles that were put in I think really showed us that little bit more of what the life of Domino was like- fast moving, sometimes very nerve racking, unpredictable and so many things happening one after the other. These techniques he used really got me into the story that much more. So, all in all, this was a fantastic movie that had me so moved and in awe from start to finish. Definitely a recommendation.

Quantum of Solace
by V Take a deep breath, you only got one shot, make it count.
Director:Marc Forster
Writers (WGA):Paul Haggis
Genre:Action | Adventure
Starring: Daniel Craig, Olga Kurylenko, Judi Dench, Gemma Arterton
"I think you're so blinded by inconsolable rage that you don't care who you hurt. When you can't tell your friends from your enemies, it's time to go."
THE MOVIE OUTLINE
"Quantum of Solace' continues the high octane adventures of James Bond from 'Casino Royale'. Picking up literally hours after the previous film left off, after being betrayed by Vesper, the woman he loved, 007 fights the urge to make his latest mission personal. Having captured Mr. White, and in pursuing his determination to uncover the truth, Bond and 'M' interrogate Mr. White who reveals the organization which blackmailed Vesper to steal Bond's casino winnings is far more complex and dangerous than anyone had imagined. "MY APPRAISAL
To begin with, I don't watch too many Bond franchises so don't expect me to compare QOS with the previous Bonds. I've heard loads of comments about how QOS sucks and let me put it this way: I'm no movie critic. I'm just a normal movie goer. According to someone who've only seen Casino Royale and Die Another Day, QOS is a pretty much an entertaining piece of cinema and also a nice time killer. And I disagree with all the thoughts that Alicia Keys and Jack White's Another Way To Die wasn't a suitable theme song, because it certainly is the coolest James Bond soundtrack, equally hot as Chris Cornell's You Know My Name.
Quantum of Solace may not be the ideal Bond movie compared to its former. I also heard that in QOS, Bond lost his originality and even worse, he becomes the clone of Jason Bourne. And I agree on this part. The story seems messed up and dry. QOS also didn't have a ferocious villain and allow me to be frank, Mathieu Amalric looks anything but intellectual.
Despite the fact that QOS sucked at some part, Olgra Kurylenko and Gemma Arterton did nice performances. I was at first surprised when I found out that Olga Kurylenko, the creepy girl I saw in Hitman and Paris Je T'aime is the new Bond Girl. But she damn showed a star quality in her.
Craig. Daniel Craig. Can't get enough of him. Craig has all the charm, charisma, confidence and looks that are needed to play Bond. I wanna see more of him. I have to admit that he probably is the number 1 reason I love QOS. I love his version of Bond better than Pierce Brosnan. I've heard someone say this sadistically on flixster : Daniel Craig works for a production company that don't deserve him. Maybe he was all the reason this 4 stars for. Without him, QOS is just AN ACTION WITH NO SOUL when revenge is a dish best served with a revolver and bullets.
M: "It'd be a pretty cold bastard who didn't want revenge for the death of someone he loved.
James Bond: "I don't think the dead care about vengeance. "Craig. Daniel Craig.
All eyes on him. Without him, QOS is just AN ACTION WITH NO SOUL when revenge is a dish best served with a revolver and bullets.posted 1 day ago -

The Ring
by Sasha"watch and die" SCREAM!JUMP!
One of the most terrifying horror i have ever seen . Well , i haven't watch the Japanese version .
But , the Hollywood version just made another goosebumps , make you scream-silently and jump-off from the chair .
Well ,it is rare for me to be too-scared of horror movie . But , this movie FREAK ME OUT , it's hard for me to be alone in 30 hours after watching this movie . Naomi Watts is nothing compared to Samara , she's a good horror actress here . But , still the girl who acted as Samara was the ... creepiest .
With its scariness , i can't even pay attention to the music or even the cinematography, it is unpleasant .
at the end , The Ring is unpleasant silent-scream , feeling the unpleasant aura after watching this movie ."Everyone will suffer"

Sin City
by V Walk down the right back alley in Sin City and you can find anything.
Directors:Frank Miller, Robert Rodriguez
Writer:Frank Miller (graphic novels)
Genre:Action | Crime | Thriller
Starring: Bruce Willis, Clive Owen, Michael Clarke-Duncan, Rosario Dawson, Josh Hartnett, Jessica Alba, Devon Aoki, Elijah Wood, Benicio Del Toro
John Hartigan:
"I take away his weapon. [shoots Junior's hand] Both of them. [shoots Junior's groin]"
Dwight McCarthy :"You made a big mistake yourself... you didn't flush."THE MOVIE OUTLINE"Sin City" is four stories inter-weaved telling tales of corruption in Basin City. The first story (The Customer is always right) is short, and is based on the depression of women that they need to pay a man to feel loved when they commit suicide. The next story is Part 1 of "That Yellow Bastard" about a cop who needs to save a young girl from being raped. The third story (The Hard Goodbye) features a man taking revenge on a heartless killer who murdered his one-night stand. The fourth story (The Big, Fat Kill) stars a man who must dispatch a cop's body, but it will be a tough ride to do it. Following that are two conclusions to Sin City, the ending of "That Yellow Bastard" which is set 8 years later, and a short story that ends Sin City. "
MY APPRAISALIf it wasn't Sin City, I would've fallen asleep, because I was damn drowsy that night. But on the other hand, I was driven by curiosity so I forced my sleepy head and shove in the DVD. But, all of a sudden my sleepiness vanished into thin air, I totally forgot how sleepy I was and I was so into the movie.
MASTERCLASS PICTURE OF THE YEAR!
In adapting Frank Miller's best-seller comic book series "Sin City", Robert Rodriguez knows well how it best served : cold and harm. Come in two daring flavours, sinners and whores. Allow me to welcome you to the shady life in a town called the city of sinners. Some call it a place to kill, a place to redeem nasty lust, yet a place where they all seeking for revenge.
Rodriguez delivers "Sin City" in 3 extraordinary bloodcurdling stories which will leave us beg for the sequels for good. They are "The Hard Goodbye", "The Yellow Bastard", and "The Big Fat Kill". The high contrast black and white image is absolutely stunning and make the film even more distinctive. Colours occasionally appear when someone's throat got cut off and one time when the yellow jackass shows up and bleed his horrible yellow blood. Totally "yeesh".
I fell in love with Clive Owen who starred as Dwight McCarthy. He's wicked fierce and he knows exactly how to do it flawlessly on screen. The naration he brought up is excellent. Jessica Alba is also a fairly exact cast for Nancy Callahan, a 19 years old whore with her innocent face but also drooling over man. What I truly disappointed in is Alexis Bledel. She's pretty, she has the qualified appearance as a prostitute. But Bledel's acting is way cheesy. She's badly outshined yet drawned by the Devon Aoki and Rosario Dawson. She tended to be a real annoying and promiscuous! I even hate her more when she turns out being the rat. What an unforgettable scene that is when Gail bite her neck like a wild animal. I was like 'way to go, whore, rip the little bitc* to death!'
It was my first thought that Sin City is a movie with the 'spot the star' syndrome just like many other. I mean, this refers to some up and coming names in Hollywood moreover to few established stars. One is on the comeback trail. Sin City bind us to the point where we're no longer watching actors with names, but the characters they are playing. For example, when we see Elijah Wood, we're not thinking of Frodo Baggins. And Bruce Willis isn't John McClane. More than anything else, that's a testimony to how excellent Rodriguez does his job.My favourite. :)
Have a pleasant day ahead.

Original Sin
by Sasha"tempting , isn't it?"
lust , caution!
Lust . One of man's biggest sin , stay aware of it .
This movie took 'lust' as their theme . Deceptive and full-of-literature words .
Original sin potrays classic story of a wicked woman and an innocent rich man , being seduced and getting revenge . Original scene has great exciting unpredictable story of lust , love , tricks and seductions , which is exciting until the end of the movie , even some ideas were so ABSURD and unbelievable .
With telenovela setting , still serving a exciting plot and beautiful scenery , especially the ending .
Well , I WATCHED THE FULL-OF-CENSORED EDITION . I don't even know that the explicit sex scenes even exist , all i know that is the you-can-see in Sex & the city tv series's type make-love and make-out scenes , and i think Original Sin is still beautiful and mesmerizing , just like how Malena impressed me .
Antonio Banderas did his role flawlessly , he did the toughest part of changing behavior of the character flawlessly .
Angelina Jolie did a wierd performance here , well , a not so familiar role, Bonny Castle/Julia Russel one of the best femme fatale i've ever seen in movie-world . But , the truth that she was nominated in Razzie award , i see no really bad performance here , maybe too much focus on her role or even too much (i don't see) sex scenes or whatever .
At the end,Original sin is a wicked movie of a seductress and seduction by a woman , and how lust can play you until you suffer a lot . Too much focus on Jolie and the 'hot' scenes . But , still okay ."This is not a love story, but it is a story about love"
-Julia Russel/Bonny Castle-
performed by Angelina Jolie
NOTE : Well , i believe there's lots of people think that this movie sucks and only sells sex , etc . I watched the full-of-censored edition . But , i can enjoy it , indeed . By all means , i rate this movie by 'how much i like it' .Here's another movie based on lust .
Just like Lust,Caution! , American Beauty and Malena .

Gothika
by Sashaafter-minute:
is this a scream-fest ? Boring and crazily BAD .LOW-CLASS SCREAM-FEST
- Boring
- Wierd
- So-not-scary Ghost-thriller (Even Suster Ngesot(Nia Ramandhani) is scarier)
- Even with Penelope Cruz and Robert Downey Jr. , this movie has no hype .
- Halle , where is your natural talent of picking a good movie to star? Putting Halle Berry in this kind of movie was just another waste of money .
Even the low-class actress/headliner Lindsay Lohan could do it in I know who killed me .
- Gothika may tried to hard to be gripping and gothic . But , the truth speaks different . Named Gothika , but not gripping and gothic enough .
- JUST LIKE AN UNKNOWN B-MOVIE .
At the end , I SUGGEST YOU NOT TO WATCH THIS . ESPECIALLY THE ONES WHO HAVE 'SOULMATE' LEVEL MCT SCORE WITH ME ."''I am a rational person. I believe in science. I don't believe in the paranormal, and I don't believe in ghosts. But if you are the ghost of Rachel Parsons, then you would let me out of this cell.'"

Casino Royale
by V Everyone has a past. Every legend has a beginning. On November 17th, discover how James...became Bond.
Director:Martin Campbell
Writers (WGA):Neal Purvis (screenplay) &
Robert Wade (screenplay)
Genre:Action | Adventure | Thriller
Starring: Daniel Craig, Eva Green, Judi Dench
"The name's Bond. James Bond."
THE MOVIE OUTLINE
"Recently promoted to 00 status, James Bond takes over his first mission, in which he faces a mysterious private banker to world terrorism and poker player, Le Chiffre. Along with a beautiful Treasury agent and the MI6 man in Montenegro, Bond takes part in a high stakes poker game set up by Le Chiffre in order to recover a huge sum of his clients' money he lost in a failed plot that the British spy took down. 007 will not only discover the threatening organization behind his enemy, but the worst of all truths: to not trust on anyone. "
A STRAIGHT KNOCKOUT!
The best and most lavish action flick in this decade. The brand new Casino Royale sets also a brand new standard for espionage escapade that will be tough to top. I found Casino Royale the slickest action flick I've ever seen. Casino Royale impressively relaunches James Bond with tension-filled high stakes poker games and exhilarating action sequences.
There's one certain reason why Casino Royale is the greatest and hippest Bond flick in ages and his name is Daniel Craig. A daring way to represents Ian Fleming's legendary action hero. A brand new Bond package sure is a risky thing to do. More complicated and hard-hitting. Either it will cause career suicide or a highly praised modern James Bond era. And Craig has done a superb job. Not only amazed the viewers with all his action scenes, he put a soul in the movie. He's on the spotlight, he's adorable, he's sex on wheel, and he's without hesitation the BEST JAMES BOND EVER.
A step in the right direction for the Bond franchise and yet the most ELECTRIFYING AND SENSATIONAL 007 flick ever produced.A step in the right direction for the Bond franchise and yet the most ELECTRIFYING AND SENSATIONAL 007 flick ever produced.

Casino Royale
by Sashaafter-minute:
A bit' unusual 007 movie . But , still unique and cool.ROLL THE DICE
Before Casino Royale , Daniel Craig was nothing . I can say that Casino Royale was his 'casino' , his luck to star as a Bond , James Bond .
Well , he gave me a suprisingly different Bond . A brutal and dirty one , still glamorous but faaaar less-glam than the previous Bonds . Another stars for Eva Green , she's really elegant , gave us a dark persona and she don't have any bimbo side which is so usual , she's amazing here .
Both Craig and Green showed us a VERY GOOD chemistry between them .
The movie itself is rather nice and refreshing than bad and boring . But , there's some wierd scenes such as the romantic holiday(which made this scenes look-a-like scenes from Gosling's & McAdam's The Notebook) and etc .
Still with the classic quotes , action pack drama and high-tech equipments with artistic opening . But , boring music and the unforgettable Casino scenes .
Of course , a nice performances from Judi Dench as M , proves that she's irreplaceable and Mads Mikkelsen as Le Chiffre , he's a scene-stealer.
At the end, Craig rolled the dice and it came out showing no. 6 , proves that he's a different Bond . new-face , new-hair and new-behavior . So i should say "Say hello to Mr. Craig!""Three measures of Gordon's; one of vodka; half a measure of Kina Lillet. Shake it over ice, and add a thin slice of lemon peel"
-James Bond-
performed by Daniel CraigA new era of Bond for you .
Daniel Craig maybe not as handsome and glamorous as the previous Bonds . But , the ideas of making his not-so-handsome face looked best with the brutal scenes and the thrilling Casino game .
With the elegant Eva Green . This Bond is surely a great different Bond movie .

V for Vendetta
by SashaAfter-minute:
eccentric ,unoriginal , impressive but still a bit' sleepy .FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION
First of all , v for Vendetta is directed by James Mcteigue with help from the Wachowski bros and of course you got the ideas right?
Impressive , for a while . Eccentric , for the whole movie . But, i bet that you never know who Mitsuo Fukuda is . Tim Mcteigue/Wachowskis copied some of Mitsuo's st yle .
Actually , Mitsuo Fukuda is known as one of the most popular modern Japanese animation director , who created 'the kids shows' ,Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED : Destiny . Well , i watched for some episodes (doesn't mean i'm an anime-lover/otaku) and i truly can consider that V copied exactly Mitsuo's sty le there .
There's some scenes that i have seen in several Japanese animation(anime) . So , surely Tim Mcteigue / Wachowskis are inspired by them . Now , we can consider Wachowskis are geeks .
I respect the unique eccentricity from V and the beautiful explosion , flowing with the classic music . An impressive view .
Also , the ideas of the movie itself . The liberal politics , the old fashioned setting mixed with futuristic time-line .
You still can see The Matrix slow-motion here , not as smooth as The Matrix , still forgive-able .
Maybe Natalie Portman is not the best actress to star here . But , what she had done for the role just shocking and captivating . Hugo Weaving made a nice acting for the eccentric V , he rocks .At the end,V for Vendetta is a fancy movie , combined eccentric directing and uniquely futuristic setting which is vividly beautiful and smart . Even though it was not that original .

As one of the insane and connecting dramas in Hollywood . BABEL made a strong impression , deceptive and beautiful .
4 different story with okay opening , made an exciting dramatic journey til the end of the stories , all emotion spilled perfectly , with 4 different type of setting and cinematography .
Strong . The characteristic of each character , from Brad Pitt to Rinko Kikuchi.
Personally , my favorite story is The Japanese one , it's strong and captivating . I like the Japanese setting , the drama of a deaf mute person and Rinko Kikuchi's strong impression(nasty role . But , she fitted it perfectly) ,suddenly made her another Asian A-list , along with Koji Yakusho .
But , Alejandro González Iñárritu made a really great directing in 'the Morocco story' ,with Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett there , supporting this story to be as strong and attractive .

Quantum of Solace
by Sasha"the brutal Bond has arrived"
BRUTAL CRAIG ,TYPICAL DRAMA
The first blonde James Bond in 007 history . Named Daniel Craig , the brutal yet still a Bond , unique , queer and sexy .
Quantum of solace is a SEXY , STUNNING modern action without focusing in the image "high-tech Bond" (but , still there was I-wall and the so-so hi-tech mobile phone). Choosing the blonde blue eyed Daniel Craig is a total brave action . Quantum absolutely made Max Payne a total Razzie all-time . THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL AN ACTION MOVIE .
Daniel Craig , Daniel Craig , Daniel Craig , and Daniel Craig , all eyes on Daniel Craig , the British blondy Bond . I LIKE THIS BOND , not as glamorous as usual brunette Bond , still looking so manly and stylish in every cloth he was wearing.
Olga Kurylenko looking dramatic and simple , not as the seducer Bond girl . But , as the dramatic half femme fatale with tragic past .
With AMAZING score and soundtrack for the opening , Alicia Keys ft. the white stripes - Another way to die .
But , the drama was so typical and predictable , that kind of drama is so typical ,that kind of drama is used by anime and telenovela .
USUAL !!! BOORING !!!!
It's about the less-uniqueness of the directing(Marc , BE UNIQUE!) , every coolness came from the opening and suddenly changed the emotion from exciting to "what the?" when it changes to Daniel Craig's action scenes .
Blurred mission progress . The plot IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH .
QUOTES PLEASE????? No memorable quotes , guys !
At the end, sexy , yup . stunning , yup . breath-taking , NO . classic , absolutely no . lovely , NO . Just another action packed drama ."Everything he touches withers and dies"(about James Bond by Greene)
-Dominic Greene-
*Note : This is my first 007 movie i've ever finished (watching) . But , i definitely can define the the brunettes Bonds typical st yle .I heart the stylish and brutal mr. Craig !!

Fantasize . That's all you gotta' do .
Big Fish taught me a very important thing . Never let your fantasy dies . Forever and ever .
Big Fish is an enchanting journey pictured beautifully , magically and dreamy (and romantic) . One of the best Tim Burton film i have ever enjoyed , not as dark and gothic as usual , Big Fish is a very bright and colorful yet sophisticated movie which play your fantasy and reality in the same time , with misty cinematography .
With music from Danny Elfman , who always lives the movie , also worked in Big Fish . Made it magical , hypnotizing and beautiful as always , especially with the brilliantly creative story-telling ways .
Big Fish has such a memorable character played with beautiful casts .
Ewan Mcgregor , Billy Crudup , Jessica Lange, Marion Cottilard,Danny De Vito ,and our nepotism lady Helena Bonham Carter . Every movement and words came from them just really wonderful .
At the end, Big Fish is one of the most magical presentation from Tim Burton which playing happily with our childish side without insulting our intellegence ."There's a time when a man needs to fight and a time when he needs to accept that his destiny's lost, the ship has sailed and that only a fool will continue. The truth is I've always been a fool. "

And since the price is no small matter, the avenger must commit to damning a soul.an imaginative journey to hell
A new days creative and dark animation, with broken dark artistic theme . One presentation with exquisite stories about the wicked drama in real life .
Hell Girl was packaged imperfectly by Takahiro Omori . For the first 4 stories , Hell Girl wasn't boring and still exciting and terrifying . But , after 11 stories and more , it became a boring repetitive ending with tacky scenes , which weren't enjoyable at all .
An anime never be a real horror , so did Hell Girl . The scenes from Ai Enma's servants in action were total tacky and freaky . Eventhough sometimes they're entertaining enough .
Hell Girl showed us Japanese Pop-culture perfectly , from the onsen(Japanese hot spring) , otaku(anime/manga maniac) to Japanese tv show's culture .Not as BIG as Ghibli's products . But , still as one of the most creative pop-anime entertainment .
Hell Girl combined J-modern culture and J-traditional horror setting and yet very creative main idea .
See this , if you're bored with Hollywood culture and classic animations .posted 11 days ago -

Max Payne
by V I don't believe in Heaven. I believe in Pain. I believe in Fear. I believe in Death.
Director:John Moore
Writers (WGA):Beau Thorne (screenplay)
Genre: Action | Crime | Drama | Thriller
Starring: Mark Wahlberg, Ludacris
THE MOVIE OUTLINE
"Coming together to solve a series of murders in New York City are a DEA agent whose family was slain as part of a conspiracy and an assassin out to avenge her sister's death. The duo will be hunted by the police, the mob, and a ruthless corporation. "
Max Payne is no doubt very disappointing and a failed Matrix (slash) Sin City (slash) Constantine wannabe. It's completely pathetic and I felt like running out of the theatre. It's not worth your dough nor your time. The movie is sloow like it'll never last and it's hugely boring. Mark, Mark. What's gotten into you? What happen to a hero we all worshiping in The Departed? We all know how The Happening sucked and simply one of 2008's worst movie. It's either he's unlucky in script selection or simply getting comfortable working in weird flicks.
Lack of chemistry between the characters and I didn't find myself root for them. A devastated man in late 30s, lost his family and drastically turn into a reckless jerk by killing people aroud him. We know how Max Payne is a jerk who can't deal with what he's been through. What do they expect us, condolences? So hell no, I don't root for the character.
And after 2 hours sitting and suffering on the theatre seat, this boring tale of Max *jackass* Payne will leave us nothing but ANOTHER TESTIMONY HOW GAME ADAPTATION FILM SUCK.Max Payne is no doubt very disappointing and a failed Matrix slash Sin City slash Constantine wannabe.
ANOTHER TESTIMONY HOW GAME ADAPTATION FILM SUCK.
IF YOU'RE NOT OBSESSED WITH THE GAME, SKIP IT!!

Little Miss Sunshine

Directors: Jonathan Dayton & Valerie Faris
Writer (WGA): Michael Arndt (written by)
Genre: Comedy | Drama
Starring: Greg Kinnear, Steve Carell, Toni Collette, Paul Dano, Abigail Breslin, Alan Arkin
THE MOVIE OUTLINE
"Olive Hoover, a seven year old girl, has one goal: to win a beauty pageant. Her heroin-addicted grandfather is her coach, and when she becomes a finalist in the Little Miss Sunshine pageant, her whole family takes on the road in an old run-down VW. The trip is anything but smooth; her father Richard is struggling to promote his self-help program, with no success, mother Sheryl is trying to simply keep her family happy and together, her brother Dwayne will not to speak until he joins the Air Force academy and, to quote himself, "hates everyone," and her uncle Frank must come with them after attempting suicide when he fell in love with one of his male graduate students. The first in a long run of disasters is the bus breaking down, causing them all to push it to get the trip started. There are MANY more things, however, which hinder Olive's Little Miss Sunshine career."
