My on-line chat buddy! http://www.bored.com/oliverbot/index.html

Hey guys! I'm pretty big on movies, music, and books. I have trouble choosing favorite authors, but Douglas Adams' and Iris Johansens' books have really stood out to me. I especially like Shel Silverstein. Whenever I can't be on the roof hurtling snowballs at random victims, I am chucking water balloons at them. I enjoy setting off fire-works when the time is illegal and have been playing with fire since I was very young. I am a total pyro and love it! I am diagnosed with excersize-induced Asthma which really bites. Sports come naturally to me as I was practically raised by my older bro. Not saying I'm great at them, just pretty good. It was get tough or die trying at home with him. I like to snowboard and watch basketball during the winter, fish during spring and summer, and I'm usually always outside shooting hoops or playing football. I'm not a total tomboy though. I like my share of chick-flicks and love to shop, but that's where the line pretty much ends. Not saying I don't wear make-up or do my hair nice, I'd just much rather be playing smear-the-queer.When I get bored I get creative, as in I have a lot of scrapbooks and notebooks maxed out with poems, songs, and short stories. My personality is split into two parts.

One: My Jekyll. This is my casual, comfy, smart-alec self that is outgoing and fun to pal around with.

Two: My Hyde. This part of me is unusually hyper and destructive. Hyde can get pretty annoying and likes to repeat peoples' names and poke them. Other than that, she's just your average Hellion spiked with Mountain Dew.

I usually like to keep to myself. The reason being- half the world's population is so fake and has distorted views of what's normal and what's weird. But I do have a good bunch of school friends that I love and hang out with. I am a Slurpee adict and proud of it! I went cold turkey for awhile but decided What the heck? It's not like a dirty habit or anything. True, Slurpees do have a tendancy to make my Hyde show but they are just too good to pass up. I also have a row of big fat crayons gaurding my headboard for those emergency urges to draw on the walls. I like phylosophy and love looking up quotes. One more thing! If you send me a widget, I will most likely delete it!

Home Sweet Home!

My Flixster Life:

I mostly spend my time in the A&C forum, but do go to others for the heck of it.

I am part of an Elite Team of Superheroes, though my character is labeled as a villian.

I am also the founder for the WGF. (Writers Guild of Flixster)-
-speaking of which I find this a nice place to put my list of favorite books!
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (series) - Douglas Adams
Stalemate-Iris Johansen
Me, Dead Dad, and Alcatraz - Chris Lynch
Flowers for Algernon - Daniel Keyes

Oi! And I like music! (No particular order)-

Photobucket

Linkin Park, Johnny Cash, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blink 182, Sum 41, Rise Against, New Found Glory, The Goo Goo Dolls, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Green Day (Older stuff), The Killers (Older Stuff), ZZ Top, Billy Joel, Creedence Clearwater, The Offspring, Less Than Jake, Theory of a Dead Man, Blue October, Creed (they've the most beautiful lyrics), Bowling For Soup, Three Days Grace, 3 Doors Down, The Hippos, Nickel Back, The Ramones, P!nk, Saving Jane, Yellow Card, Sheryl Crow, Social Distortion, and Third Eye Blind.

Concerts I've Been To:

Billy Joel
Blink 182 (New Found Glory opened for them)
Avril Lavigne (Back before all the cheesiness)
U2 (Second best concert ever!)
Dixie Chicks
Linkin Park (Yes! In your faces! I saw the greatest band ever! Chiodos opened up for Coheed and Cambria who in turn opened for Linkin!)
The Police-
-I must say that this has been the funnest show ever! I wasn't expecting much especially from Costello. I have never been a fan of 80's music and was decked out in the most 80-like outfit, (Pink, green, and orange hair, a hot pink undershirt with a colbalt blue shirt over that I'd cut all up, purple soccer socks that I cut up to match and a hat that I were on the side of my head.), to be ironic. It turned out to be a fantastic show! I got a Costello shirt (turned out I like him even better than the Police and am so looking forward to his new album) and a Police shirt, poster, pins, and the guy threw in a free Police bag! I rocked out with people I didn't even know and just had a blast. I knew more songs than I thought I would and sung a-long. When it was over my sister and I waited with these really nice people for the parking lot to clear out. It was the most awesome show ever!

Waiting For:
x96's Big A$$ Show
The Van's Warp Tour

Best Songs Ever! - That Old Wheel - Johnny Cash (Got me through the night my dog died), I Won't Back Down - Johnny Cash, Joy to the World - Three Dog Night (I OWN this song!), Don't Stop Dancing - Creed, Cats and the Cradle - Harry Chapin, The Road I Must Travel - The Nightwatchman (Tom Morello), You Get What You Give - New Radicals, Live Forever - Billy Joe Shaver, Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley, Hands Held High - Linkin Park, Pork and Beans - Weezer and Old Time Rock 'n Roll - Bob Seger.

*Cheers*

Wonderfully done, and deeply touching in the most innocent of ways. I could do without the parts of narrating, but that was the only problem I had with this film. Sincere and lovable, this is a truly great flim.

I deny that I like it now, but I used to watch this all the flippin' time when I was younger.

Hilarious! I am embarrased to say that I laughed my way into a fit with this one. Something about that dirty humor. . .The film was great, especially if you're into Sandler's newer work. I enjoyed Kevin James a lot more than I thought I would and am looking forward to seeing more of what he can bring to the big-screen!

Average every day soccer movie with the same predictable plot. Though, what it lacked in originality it made up for in eye candy.
Evolution Evolution PG-13 5.0 Stars
This took a while for me to review. it was a long haul waiting for all the awesomeness to sink in.

Duchovny and Jones seem to be a comedic-duo made in heaven! Scott was a nice bonus to the hilarious chaos, though Julianne Moore's character wasn't much help in the humor factor, her strict, head-strong presence made an absolutely unavoidable target for jokes. Evolution is one of the very few remaining comedies that actually sticks to the plot and yet does not let up on the hilarity of it. Very well done and thought out, this film is going straight to my favorites. And trust me, it takes a lot from a movie to make it there. ;)

The Guardian 1. The Guardian PG-13 5.0 Stars
This movie was a little predictable, but the actors didn't let that ruin their skills. Costner gave an awesome performance,(as usual), perfecting the mood and strength, while Kutcher gave us the ambition and angst. Combining all of those it was a very passionate and powerful look into the sacrafice of the Coast Guard. I totally reccomend it!
The Benchwarmers 2. The Benchwarmers PG-13 5.0 Stars
This movie is underrated and deserves more credit than it gets. IT'S SO HILARIOUS! The humor was NOT immature more than the critics are just cynical buttholes. Good timing on all parts but of course Lovitz's stood out the most and took the cake on all things funny. Totally reccomendalbe!
Live Free or Die Hard 3. Live Free or Die Hard PG-13 5.0 Stars
There are a lot of people that say it was too long of a gap between this and the 3rd, but for coming out around Transformers it did really well. Personally I thought it was better than Transformers. The plot made sense and gave it excitment while Bruce's smart remarks made you smile as you were on the edge of your seat. It was really actiony all throughout and the Yippy-Kae-Yay sent chills running up your back. Anyways I think this film would of gotten a lot more coin at the box office if it hadn't released right next to Transformers. (Even though this was a LOT better than Transformers) We're gonna die die die die hard!

Plot: Jack Stanfield is a bank security expert, whose specialty is designing infallible theft-proof financial computer systems. But there's a hidden vulnerability in the system he didn't account for - himse...( read more )lf. When a ruthless criminal mastermind kidnaps his family, Jack is forced to find a flaw in his system and steal $100 million. With the lives of his wife and children at stake and under constant surveillance, he has only hours to find a loophole in the thief's own impenetrable system of subterfuge and false identities to beat him at his own game. My Taking: Amazing! Loved every minute of it! Paul Bettany as outstanding as the role of Bill Cox, the master operator for all the chaos brought into Jack Stanfield's (Ford) life. Harrison Ford was great too, as usual, as the quick-thinking family-man that saves the day! (Not really a spoiler right? Anyone could have guessed) A fantastic movie that is going straight to my favorites.
Matchstick Men 6. Matchstick Men PG-13 4.0 Stars
I love it, love it, love it! It's one of my dad's favorites, but I'd never had any interest in it. My parents have tried so many times to get me to sit down and watch it with them, but I figured it was going to bore me to the point of screaming and clawing my eyes out. Oh how wrong I was! What has to be the biggest twist, dare I say, since the Sixth Sense, the plot was understandable, the outlook on Roy's (Cage) life got to you and then *POSSIBLE SPOILER* they tear it all out from under you! Though you practically let them have it because the twist is that it was there in plain site the whole time! A fantastic, fantastic film I am reccomending this to everyone I practically know! The acting was superb, the directing was on the fine side, and the storyline is one of my all time favorites! I can't even express my deep appreciation for this film.
