Donnie Darko (2001,  R)
Donnie Darko 5.0 Stars
One, of my favourite films. I love this film for a number of reasons.
One: Jake Gyllenhaal; I fell in love with his character, he was amazing.
Two: You can watch it one hundred times and you still don't fully understand it.
Three: Every time you watch it, you learn something else about it.
Four and Finally: The love story between Donnie and Gretchen.
Basically, if you're smart enough, watch this movie. However, if you're slightly on the stupid side, I do not recommend you see it, as you will not understand any part of it and will therefore end up hating this amazing film.

Life as a House (2001,  R)
Life as a House 5.0 Stars
This film has a great deal of heart, the whole feel given from the film is indescribable, you just have to see it yourself.
The music score is perfectly fitted in this film, as a matter of fact, I own the soundtrack myself.
Amazing relationship and performance between Sam and George (Kline and Christensen). Although I disagree when individuals make negative comments on Hayden Christensen's acting in the Star Wars prequels, this film is sure to change your mind.
If you're looking for a good cry, this is surely the film to see.

They cheated this film out of the Oscars. It is by far, one of the most heart wrenching films that has ever existed. Just put your whole heart into it, and it will give much in return.

Closer (2004,  R)
Closer 5.0 Stars
I think this film is really great, because its all about sex and relationship with that, yet there is not one sex scene in the film.
I just think this film is beautiful. Clive Owen and Natalie Portman are especially believable.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith 5.0 Stars
If you hated the prequels, you wont now. This is the one you were waiting for. Outstanding. I cried so much, this one really shows you George Lucas' original intention of Darth Vader not being a villain but a tragdy.

Aww, I just loved it. I really hope Matt Damon writes something again, I know Ben did as well, but he's done Gone Baby Gone, so it's time for Matt to step up to the plate. Loved this, very much so. Especially the performances as well, Minnie and Matt were a wonderful couple. Robin, one of the best I've seen him in.
