| Up - PG |
Tenth amazing film straight, Pixar is huger than ever and reaches the sky like Carl with "Up". Even not beating the amazing pallette of colours and geniality of "Wall-e", this stablishes the famous animation studio as the best producing studio of the 21st century. I won't tell you anything else, you should definetely go out, buy a ticket and watch the new PIxar's masterpiece. A quirky, sweet and charming tale of a man, his home and his acquaintaces: A small mailman, a bird and a talking dog.
ps: If you felt amazed with Wall-e's first half-hour you'll almost cry with Up's. |

| Eagle vs. Shark - R | Ok, it's a contradiction, but "Eagle vs Shark" is not like "Napoleon Dynamite" but it looks like "Napoleon Dynamite". Reasons? 1- This isn't a high school tale folks, but try to imagine how would be Napoleon 15 years after it. Imagined? Ok, that's how "Eagle..." sounds. 2- Napoleon is a likable and deep inside a lovely character while Jarrod is completely the opposite. Both of them are nerds and both seem disconnected to their own specific worlds. 3- "Napoleon Dynamite" and "Eagle vs Shark" are over-the-top quirky multiplied by two. So, you can affirm that "Eagle" is the kiwi "Napoleon" or that "Eagle" is a quirky loving story which resembles "Napoleon" a little. It's a contradiction indeed. Oh, by the way, even if Jarrod is one of the most hateful characters of the history you'll enjoy the movie. And you'll probably feel sorry for him at the end.
