This is the biggest hippy movie of the year thus far. There are some good elements, but the premise of the story somewhat falls out and the moral is weaker by the end of the film.

Stardust is a nice refreshing satire which, at the same time, pulls off a very intriguing story. There seem to be no boundaries in this world. I enjoyed this so much because the characters were very down-to-earth. The acting was very good from everyone. The only disappointment of the movie was when it was nearing the end. The movie stepped away from it's theme, which is making fun of fairy tales. But the very end tied it together.

Moving. Sean Penn is flawless, and Emile Hirsch is absolutely stunning; the Oscars should watch out for Mr. Hirsch.

There are two problems with this movie. It covers so much very quick which makes it hard for the viewers unfamiliar with Firefly, and the music doesn't have the same swagger and twang as the TV series. Other than those two, relatively tiny issues, this finishes off something that shouldn't have stopped. Firefly that is. The spectrum of writing is epicly designed, and the payoff is incredible!
