I didn't really care for the story because I have no interest in the military and am getting tired of movies about rich people who have everything, but it was generally well made and the action sequences were top notch.

I didn't really like a lot of the music but somehow I can't imagine the movie without it anyway. It took me some time to warm to the story but the performances drew me in, overall it's worth watching even if you don't like musicals.

I was expecting almost non-stop laughs and they didn't come as often as I thought, but what's there is funny and the dramatic moments are gripping and emotional. Flawless movie, funny and sweet with excellent performances.
