Christian Bale finds a great role here, Rodriguez plays a great supporting role. These guys have a busy couple of days of general debauchery and mayhem.
Great film, John Corbett from Sex and City and the apple commercial geek are coupled with Agness Bruckner and Kelli Garner. It's an off-lilt discovery film woven in a trailer park between two good friends. I really enjoy the weirdness and strange pauses, beautiful cinematagraphy, great casting and minimal storyline.
Possibly one of the best random unexpectedly good films of all time. Or minimally the best soundtracks of all time. The hair, the slightly deviated permutations that lead to different outcomes and the decidedly Euro Berliner feel to it make it stay with you.
Strange that this movie has Dennis Hopper of Blue Velvet fame. Not your greatest film, but for a traveler it reminds you of spain and things that happen to you there. Sort of to the point, closing quote: "The story of our life is not our life. In the end it is our story."
global warming wake up call, my favorite scene is when the US government forgives Mexico's foreign debt so that americans can all go live there. el dia de despues, a great spanish title. donnie darko's jake gyllenhaal is in this too...
drew barrymore is always fun, and she and adam pair well running around hawaii, one of my favorite places, in roles that have them playing something close to themselves.
