It's fun to see our conceptions of government reflected on film. I bet the lines that the guys say sound really corny on paper though. Not the best Bourne film, but fun still.
One has to see this at the movie theater to fully enjoy this movie's scope. It's one of the most intense monster movies in a long while. Godzilla meets Blair Witch Project equals, fun stuff.
One of the most referenced movies in the hiphop industry, this movie talks about Frank White comes back out of jail trying to build a crime empire from New York. It's covered with over-the-top acting and a New York that's almost unrealistic in it's ineptitude to capture the crooks. But damn, it is fun to watch.
While I found it hilarious, I know that a lot of the jokes here is dated and lost in translation. Cantonese is a very colloquial language and if one doesn't understand it, the comedy will not be taken as well. Great movie to me.
Comment ta le vu? or something like that, the French Gambler of Shanghai versus the Hong Kong Gamber from the future, it was impossible, but still fun.
I only remember the full frontal nudity and the eiree piano theme in the background. I guess it's about a man coming to peace with the idea that he has to stop giving in to temptation - even if it's everywhere around him.
