tom..........hanks......BEST FREAKIN' ACTOR EVER! this movie totally brings to life the horrors of having AIDs and being gay in the 90s. it seems so real and true, the way people would be biased or scared or whatever against people with AIDs. people say it is so sad or whatever, and it is, but it is soo powerful too. you know what is going to happen in the end, and you cant see any way around it, but it is still such a suprise ending. antonio banderas did a great job as the man who has to watch the person he loves slowly die, while also having to watch him undertake a huge battle for his humility. tom hanks was just mind-blowing as andrew becket, and it was just awful to watch him having to go through everything that he did. denzel washington was amazing as Joe, andrew's lawyer, showing the very realistic side people dealing with gays with AIDs. i found this one of the best movies i have ever seen in my life, and anyone who hasnt seen this needs to ASAP

I mean, I, I have absolutely no idea what we're doing here. Or what I'm doing here, or what this place is about, but I am determined to enjoy myself. And I'm very intrigued, and oh my this soup is delicious, isn't it?"
