Where in the World Is Osama Bin Laden?
PG-13
i really enjoyed this its not what i was expecting...from the title it could be a provocative film instead i found spurlock to be informative yet very humane.for me this was spurlock's personal mission to find out about the truth about the usa and its people.what we see is that people are people, does not matterwhat race and religion, rich or poor...what we learn is that the common man does not hate the other but its the governments and religious leaders that make people fear another!!!!we kill another not because we necessarily want to but we are told to!!life and death spurlock interprets the two in his own special way.this documentary was great and is highly recommended and should be looked at for receiving awards....watch spurlock he's a documentarian for the here and now!!!
Speed Racer (2008)
PG
don't get me wrong the special effects, and the fact that its on the imax makes this a cinematic treat,...however,...2hrs 10mins didnt half drag on and i feel this maybe the downside for younger viewers.a film made to resurrect a franchise and make a fortune on toys and other merchandise.one other good point about this film is christina ricca-playing a ''CUTE''character.the story is weak but just for the visuals on the imax screen it's worth a watch!!!!
What Happens in Vegas...
PG-13
i was not looking forward to this as from the trailer it just looks like another JUST MARRIED except with a different leading lady.to a point it was and yet this film was surprisingly entertaining and as a married man myself there are certain parts that only those that are/were married would relate to and appreciate the humour.i would recommend this film as a couples film and is an ideal date material night out as the film covers the human emotions from all aspects and ends by making the viewer feel good as with nearly all hollywood lovey-dovey films there has to be a happy ending....in a world we live in today it is nice to have films like this still to go and see and escape to!!!
Caramel
PG
if you read the synopsis it doesn't sound amazing...yet the film is very good and tells a story that is all to common in the world today.well acted, and a story that sounds dull and yet will entertain you!!!!
Smart People
R
great story, great cast but for me...t.haden church stole the screen for me...his dry wit and wily and witty dialogue is genius.ellen page such a talent.s.j.parker actually performed convincingly and had a great role.quaid another strong performance.
P2
R
not a great idea....although there is a great sense of claustrophobia,a lack of intensity and wooden acting films your screen for 98 mins.a story of the strong preying upon the weak and the weak turning upon the strong!!!

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
by BobI was only a mild fan of the first film in this series (although the image of the White Witch in a golden chariot drawn by a pair of galloping polar bears is hard to forget!), but THE CHRONICLES OF NARIA: PRINCE CASPIAN is head and shoulders above its predecessor. Minotaurs, centaurs, flying griffins, talking animals and swashbuckling mice are all believably rendered. The production design is stunning! The special effects are wondrously eye-popping. Director Andrew Adamson has a great feel for pacing. The film runs 2 hours and 17 minutes PLUS 7 minutes of end credits, but never drags. The constantly moving camera ... soaring, turning, swiveling ... and the adroit editing, make for very exciting and inventive battle sequences, the second of which runs a full half hour of screen time. The entire cast performs very well, but Peter Dinklage gives an award worthy supporting turn. A rousing entertainment which will do big boxoffice worldwide assuring that the remaining five books in this series will also make the transfer to screen. {this is a sweeping epic with incredible sound effects and demands to be enjoyed on a giant theater screen with state of the art sound system}
I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this. Director Adamson is certainly a talent to watch.

Funny Games (2008)
by ♥LisaSpoiler ALert:
Do not read this if you want to see this movie! You have been warned.Ok now then.I wanted to see this movie because I love Naomi Watts. Now for the life of me I can't understand why the girl would bother getting involved in a movie like this. It's an utter MESS.Pointless, plotless, and so boring and dragged out at times you could go do meaningless tasks for 10 minute stretches during certan parts of this.Honestly in my opinion a complete waste of film.I would like to see the original (I think) but there is just NO answers, like why were these 2 white gloved weirdos doing all tyhis crap AT ALL?Also WHO in their right minds could just carry on and barely even cry or be upset after their son has just been blown away in front of them.WHAAAAAAAAAAAATEVER.Totally unrealistic.CRAP I really wanted to like this one.Hey, you should really NOT see this!

hi there...I'm doing pretty good, just very stressed and tired at the moment due to all the school work I have right now, so I haven't really had the time to watch that many movies...the only recommendable one I've seen recently is Top Gun.

In Bruges
by ♥LisaThis was a pretty cool movie,I was just expecting more of what the trailer gives us.What you get though is kind of an unexpected suprise.A story of Regret,Haunting memories and even sadness at times. It's kind of a dark comedy,I liked it ,like I said if you are looking for the whole movie to be like the trailer you will most likely be disappointed.
