My Rating
1
The first movie to truly capture the spirit of a good comic book on screen. AND it let the audience decide all the philosophical gack for themselves, unlike the latter two Matrix yawnfests.
2
The first I ever called "my favourite film." Still brilliant.
3
Brilliant -- grey, brutal, gritty, just like the second of the books.
4
My fave of Jackson's films -- the Shire is perfect!
5
Peter Jackson did an absolutely masterful job.
6
Heart-breaking. Exhilerating. Stunning.
7
Not a wasted frame in nearly three glorious hours.
8
As twisted as it is sexy - as smart as it is tough.
9
Brutal, profane, gorgeous.
10
What's the French word for 'perfection'?
11
Wholly bizarre; therein lies the beauty of it all.
12
If you have to ask, you'll never get it.
13
TV as only the Brits can do.
14
I can't recall a more perfectly crafted ensemble comedy.
15
Outstanding conclusion to a very good series.
16
Extremely well-made espionage, without going over-the-top, Bond-style.
17
Weakest of the three Bourne pictures, but still a kick-ass rollick.
18
How does one argue with the best film ever made?
19
Exquisite.
20
THIS is what Batman's all about. Nice job, Christian Bale!
21
Yet another extremely good picture from an all-star ensemble under Martin Scorsese.
22
What's amazing is how little the first two films age compared to other "classics".

Juno
(2007, PG-13)
Well-written, well-acted, and thoughtfully shot. An outstanding Vancouver-shot film with an engaging cast. It's hard to do a pregnant teen story without hitting schmaltzy After School Special notes, but Juno does it in style.
