Drew Barrymore´s first directing project actually hits home, and is proved to be a fine comedy with the ever dependable Ellen Page in the lead with an assortment of current hip actresses all rolling and partying, ensuring never a dull moment. The movie never drags due to Barrymore never forcing anything. Yes this sin´t just a chickflick as guys will surely enjoy scantily clad rollerblading honies. Go on, Whip It.

Enjoyable for its performances but hardly original, a moderately funny drama comedy. mostly worth seeing for Kevin Spacey´s central performance.
