James Bond, " Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca-'Here's looking at you kid', Clint Eastwood as Harry Callaghan in Dirty Harry-'You gotta ask yourself one question - 'Do I feel lucky...' Well, do ya punk...', E.T-"ET phone home.", Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Terminator-'I'll be back' 'Hasta la vista, baby', Johnny Weismuller's Tarzan to Jane-'Me Tarzan, you Jane'

    FUCKING BADASS MOVIE!!!
The Dark Knight is so awesome, and all thanks to The Joker. He made the whole movie amazing!!!! He reminded me of Jigsaw, from the SAW movies cause he had the unique way of killing people. Its so sick and twisted, so awesome!
If you haven't seen it, go fucking watch it!!
Hey, you should really see this!

I went and saw this yesterday, I was really excited to see it. I think Christian Bale is an excellent Batman but.... This movie was getting soooo much hype so I was afraid that it wouldn't live up to it. Well it did, it so did! Definitely a 5 star in my book! I love Heath Ledger but I was still worried on whether he would do Joker justice. He did NOT disappoint! I love the way they wrote this version of Joker. I know the theaters are crazy right now but be sure to go out and see it while it's in the theater! Perfect mix of action & humor!
    Don't wait for DVD

Ladies and gentlemen, The Dark Knight is not an ordinary film, but an extraordinary film, and I'm proud of saying that. The Dark Knight surpasses any possible human expectation and is almost unparalleled in almost every single aspect within films of its genre. I'm about to say why.

Christopher Nolan still applies his already identifiable darker direction for the Batman franchise first seen in Batman Begins (2005), which although it was somewhat a small disappointment and was stupidly called the best film of the year (XD LOL), set a darker tone for Batman as for the plot and characterization goes. This is what still makes The Dark Knight work and makes his films better than any Schumacher-directed Batman crap. "WTF, IS EDGAR COCHRAN ON CRACK? IS HE SAYING THAT THE DARK KNIGHT IS AN EXTRAORDINARY FILM, AND THAT NOLAN DIRECTED A BETTER FILM THAN BURTON DID IN 1989?" Yes, I am, and I never expected me saying that. And I'm not on crack. Christopher Nolan made a better film this year than Burton did in 1989 with his unique, great and original Batman classic.

The script is totally great, beautiful and well-structured. Both Christopher and Jonathan did a splendid job that was perfectly accurate for every single characterization, especially for The Joker, and highly appropriate for the perfect pace and length of the film. Heath Ledger (RIP) built a unique Joker, and an outstandingly crazy, humorous, funny, fun, sadistic, crazy and sarcastic character, which is contrary to my past expectations. Heath Ledger should be extremely proud of the last character he brought to life during his career, which I think it was the greatest. Although there will never be a better Joker than Jack Nicholson, since he was the greatest in bringing that character to the big screen, Heath Ledger adds another style to the character and I was totally shocked in a good way. AND WHAT A TERRIFIC WAY TO INTRODUCE HEATH LEDGER'S CHARACTER: I TOTALLY LOVED THE PENCIL SCENE, AND I ALMOST LAUGHED LIKE MY WHOLE THEATER DID!!

The action sequences are totally breathtaking and amazingly choreographed and edited. I'm one of those guys that say that tons of mindless action sequences most normally tend to deteriorate almost every aspect of the film such as direction, plot, script, character development, among others. The dose of action in The Dark Knight is just fine! I personally prefer the action sequences to have an absence of music so I can analyze aspects such as special effects, editing, cinematography, sound effects and sound editing without any distraction or annoyance. The Dark Knight allowed me all of that, and they are sweet! The action is perfectly done. The Dark Knight has also several menacing moments throughout that made me feel extreme tension and suspense all the time. This film made me feel the adrenaline running through my veins several times, AND THAT ALMOST NEVER HAPPENS TO ME!

The cast is superb. Christian Bale is still cool, although he keeps making that exaggerated and somewhat annoying accent when he is acting like Batman. Who the hell can hate Michael Caine? He's as great as always. Maggie Gyllenhaal was a better choice than Katie Holmes for Rachel Dawes, since I like her more and is a better actress. Aaron Eckhart was a terrific choice for Harvey Dent (Two-Face). Gary Oldman was OK once again. Morgan Freeman is as good as always, and more hilarious this time. Heath Ledger was the best of them all.

The only facts that I didn't like are that the Two-face character is wasted very quickly (possibly), and that the appearance of The Scarecrow was rather unnecessary. Batman's voice is still annoying, and I hope that it is changed soon in the next Batman film.

All in all, The Dark Knight is not only the second best film Christopher Nolan has made so far, but the best Batman film I have ever seen and the best superhero movie I've ever laid my eyes on. The quality of the film is unbelievable, and talking about its greatness will never make enough justice for it. I was totally blown away, and so will you. Thanks, Nolan, for a dark masterpiece.
