Hotaru no haka (Grave of the Fireflies)
Unrated
An emotional drama that leaves you shaken, I've only been able to see it once, it was so gripping. Its rich in depth and the story just moves you to tears. I truly recommend this anime to everyone, even those who are not fond of anime.

The Kite Runner

Gripping, incredibly powerful movie. I recommend it to everyone, although one should first read the book. I did, and I see that a lot of detail has been removed for the movie, and its such a fantastic book. Read the book, watch the movie!
